But, we obviously have different views.

What do you think about Dorries and the other 2 posting far right doctored lies about Starmer on social media, and not apologising?

I've just told you you aren't required to put any information about yourself in to any NHS app.
What official carers app? You also have no knowledge of what is required by Android/Apple app marketplaces either so you can't say why it is being done like that.

Politicians post stuff about other politicians all the time. Who cares.

What official carers app? The app you are debating me about.

Belgium - 5,300 by April 19 +50%

If these have been raised already, I apologise.

So what's your point? Different countries have different death rates shocker?

Read the figures how you want to read them. For you, it doesn't matter that we have such a huge percentage increase. Others will find it concerning.

No, I'm balanced enough to see there are dozens of reason as to why this would be the case, you are looking at it ever only being for one reason which is as dishonest as it is deluded.

All I did was post the figures. Happy to allow people make there own opinions from it.

We have, 33k reported deaths, and 53500 excess deaths. What do you put the 20k difference down to?

Just curious.

And, just read you have no issues with claims made by government minister in which it is inferred that the leader of the opposition basically supported bad person gangs. That's a strong take.

I'm unsure, how any, right minded person, doesn't have an issue with what the mps posted about starmer. Though, I get it from the right wing racist lunatics who invented the video.

If you'd bothered to follow the post from further back you would see that there was a significantly worse flu/pneumonia this year than normal. Is it responsible for all the excess deaths? Unlikely, but it was considerably higher than the five year average.

The trouble with stuff like this is that most people simply aren't aware of it. Old people die, and most take no notice of why really, and very little toss is given as to a rising/falling death rate unless it comes up against something like what we are currently experiencing. Have you ever paid much attention to differences in annual death rates? I know I haven't. I've never cared if it was a good or bad flu year before, but now all of a sudden people are jumping on excess deaths as some sort of ammunition, when there is any number of possibilities for it being like it is.

Starmer was pretty poor on those gangs to be fair as Director of Public Prosecutions, but I wouldn't support the messages being posted the way they are. Needless political point scoring. Fat Tom Watson was also a disgrace on the parliamentary diddler ring nonsense, and never really paid for that.

I could be missing something but supers influenza claims are hard to find.

The ONS certainly don't seem to have recorded influenza deaths of the number needed to explain even a small proportion of the excess deaths over the covid period.

Mac there were fewer than 6000 flu/pneumonia the year before. There was that many in 3 weeks this year.

Besides, who cares what you think, you believe the only reason the UK has such a high number of deaths is because of government decisions and you also believe that excess deaths are due to coronavirus or coronavirus collateral.

You are the first person to my knowledge who is putting forward the idea that the current high excess death figures are due to an as yet unidentified influenza.

I can't find any data that supports that idea. Can you?

ONS themselves attribute a lot of the excess down to Flu and Pneumonia based on higher than usual numbers from December to Febduary, did you not bother looking into the numbers beyond the headline?

My ask was, some sort of graph, showing the excess deaths from end of last year into this year. I can't find anything. As the talk is excess deaths for the year, it would be interesting to see how high up we were at the start if the year in comparison to when it spiked due to covid. I'm just asking if anyone has this. Because, that's the only way we can see a comparison of how horrendous this flu was.

Check the link I posted. It contains excess death data from the start of this year.

Also you can check the 18/19 winter excess death data on ons site. You won't be surprised to hear they don't reveal a hidden influenza epidemic.

Well, I for one, am disgusted, that years ago Keir Starmer brought a field for his mum, just behind her house, so she can use it as a donkey sanctuary. Disgusting. And the fact it could be worth millions, especially if it wasn't on green belt land and was up for sale.

The mail on Sunday is absolutely right to be frothing in anger.

It's interesting how different courses handle things right now. We've just enjoyed our first week back playing golf. Eighteen minutes between tee times, social distancing, masks when there's anyone close, arrive not more than 15 mins ahead of tee time and no hanging around. But they're trying to eliminate anything that involves many hands making contact with objects. So there are no ball washers, no touching the flagstick, no bathrooms , and no plans to open the driving range. But it feels great to be back !

Plunk I thought you called them restrooms over there .The 18 minutes is a bit much though. We have had an e mail to say the 'bathroom' will be open but usual social distancing.
Considering I live in a pretty sedate area we had an interesting Friday evening.I went to bed at the back of the flat about 8.30 to listen to radio 5 as you do and I'm thinking theres a lot of noise outside sounded like kids argueing but it went on a bit so I get up and wander to the front window and we have a full on riot going on.At least 20 police 2 big lads pushing each other a girl laid out sparko on the road opposite everyone shouting.Street sealed off amubulance medics the full monty.Next door out with his 9 iron ready to pile in.I didn't recognise any of the people I could see but Im reliably advised they were from our 'traveller'
community couple of miles away who had a police raid on Thursday arresting 8 of their menfolk.

From what I hear the beach wasn’t as busy as people thought.
