Capitol Punishment
In my opinion the WWE created this PPV as a way to establish WWE as a 'nice company' for the appraisal of Linda McMahon. Well she didn't succeed in her election race but WWE are still keen to show to politicians that their company isn't all bad.
I predict that this will be a very disappointing PPV, wrestlers will be restrained even further in towing the line for the company and I can see Faces winning cleanly in almost every match in very cautious PG fashion.
Because of these beliefs I'm going to abstain from watching the show unless upon checking the next day I am proved wrong.
How do you think next weeks event is going to pan out?

I too think it will be poor. I expect clean wins for Cena and Orton and a 'mark out free' night

What I saw Sheamus and Randy Orton do to each other on Smackdown wasn't very PG - I think we might be turning a corner in that respect.

I've not seen SD yet, after this revelation I don't know if I want to!
Re: Capitol Punishment
I thought it was a very good regular-show standard match. I really enjoyed it.

WWE does seem to taking one step at a time away from the PG stuff, the word Ass is back on the show, thats a start.

I'm not big on the PG debate, it's there until further notice. I do believe though that the show will be restrained, and with it being on SBO it makes me not want to tune in.

I can see the Orton v Christian match stealing the show again, their feud has been brilliant to date and so have their matches. I reckon Ziggler v Kingston could be a decent match up also.

Re: Capitol Punishment
Ziggler v Kingston will be a good solid match, hope Ziggler gets the win as there is a definite glass ceiling over Kingston, a win over Ziggler is not going to do much for him but I think if Ziggler was to win the US title then it could be the start of something for him on Raw.
CM Punk v Mysterio doesn't interest me in the slightest for two reasons - 1. They had a three month feud last year and 2. Punk is sure to lose.
Orton v Christian should be a good match but if Orton wins again I really don't see how they could drag out the feud any longer, I really think if Christian loses again then it confirms his win at ER was purely a token gesture by the WWE, no doubt through Edge's influence and Vince has no plans to ever give him back the title again. I could be wrong though...

Yeah I think Punk will win also, especially after pinning Cena this week on Raw.

because Punk gets cheap wins on Raw but loses all the important ones at PPV.

I can only give you the standard www.myp2p.eu recommendation really. Go on there 'other' sports page and it should be there. Careful though, it may get shut down.

Does anyone know where I can watch this? WWEO has had it removed due terms of copyright or something.

I can't believe that there is a fan in this world whose enjoyment of wrestling is affected in any way by whether the word "ass" is used by the competitors.
Whatever next? A film buff who only enjoys movies that contain blue cars? Do you only like songs that have swear words in as well?
Give me quality matches, good booking and passionate promos. I don't care whether they swear or not and I don't know why anyone would care.

Re: Capitol Punishment
What you on about Crips, why the use of words like ass and the occasional bra and panties match is the only reason I got into wrestling!
I don’t care one iota that they put on shows which take huge amount of dedication and sacrifice to their bodies purely for entertainment, I want mild swearing and the hint of nudity goddamitt!

Ahhh awesome ! Cheers pal
EDIT: Currently watching Ziggler vs. Kingston...Is it me or is there a randomly new camera angle the WWE are using? It's panning the ring and showing the arena in a different way...Or is that just me?

I was joking, of course, but I do think it's absurd that anyone cares about the PG rating. In the 80s and most of the 90s, the WWF was PG, but we don't look back and say "My god the WWF was rubbish in the days of Piper, Savage, Mr Perfect, The Million Dollar Man, the Hart Foundation, the British Bulldogs, Jake the Snake and Bobby Heenan".
The NWA was PG when Flair and Steamboat had their classic trilogy of matches in 1989. The 1992 Royal Rumble was PG. The Michaels-Ramon ladder match was PG. The NWO was PG.
On the other hand, TNA is not PG. Katie Vick was not PG. Kane raping Lita and then turning into a loving father-to-be only for Snitsky to cause her to lose it turning the naughty person Kane babyface was not PG.
I just don't think it matters. The problem is bad writing, simple as that.
