6CWF Chat v1 (100th edition)
First topic message reminder :
JJ,
Sorry about lack of a promo for last show, I was on holiday and took delivery of our puppy, truth be told, I needed a break from life.
Will sort something with Marky.

I believe as it stands we have 10-11 names confirmed for the roster thus far. Hopefully a few more to add into the mix yet as well. Eh Marky

This is true, Marky. And considering I am also you, then booking yourself as champ again shouldn’t be a problem

Cracking promos up so far, good to see you boys still got it.
Will be dropping one of my own tomorrow. Done some writing for the show today, certainly a bit of rust

Morning all.
I feel like we should get the conversation flowing with some kind of forced topics. Like the good old days.
What's everyone having for lunch today? I've got a co-op meal deal because I live on the edge.

All good here mate, just a bit bisy in a new job. As good as the the long weekends are, I hate the having to cram 5 days work in 4 days
I cancelled the network recently, but have been watching AEW. Got a ticket to the Wembley show in August

Ah good stuff mate, congrats on the new job
Jealous of anyone going to All In. Just don’t think I can do it this year with a new house and holiday etc. Reckon there’ll be some top matches and talent though.
I just dip and choose with wrestling now. I don’t particularly watch any full show. I really like a lot of the in ring stuff of Impact. AEW is great in parts but again has its drawbacks. WWE also very hit and miss.
I watch some MLW from time to time and matches from Japan. I tend to just look up a match or two when I get chance.

Nice one mate. Back at tou with the new home
I enjoy AEW more often than not, some great talent there that I look forward to seeing more of going forward
We've gone pretty cheap on the tickets as up in the gods, but from experience wembley offers pretty good views from wherever, and it'll be worth it just for the atmosphere anyway

Re: 6CWF Chat v1 (100th edition)
The atmosphere will be great, will watch on tv but being live will be insane.
I like a load of the talent in aew I just think honestly there’s too many, as crazy as that sounds. I heard a rumour of a brand split kind of thing and I think that would benefit them greatly. More showcase time for the talent. The thing I enjoy, because I’m stuck in the past, is I think there’s more of an attitude era feel to the shows.
Anyone ever watch Lucha Underground? Stumbled across it last couple of years and the first two series especially are fantastic. I love the concept of wrestling in a tv show drama the way it’s done. Definitely will impact on my writing style in coming months so apologies if anyone isn’t a fan

I believe they have a second live show due in July called Collision. Rumoured to be Punks return
I haven't mate. I'd check it out but don't think I have enough time to add another wrestling company to my viewing with other things I'm binging as well. So much to do and catch up on, so little time

Re: 6CWF Chat v1 (100th edition)
I still watch.
I can't stand AEW, it's utter dross. There's been a few moments i've caught and just found it to be very 'meh'. So much ex WWE talent that is wasted, or dining out on their last hurrah. The amount of botches, dangerous wrestlers, stupid matches is unreal. Tony Khan is the new Herb Abrams.
WWE has gotten progressively better under HHH, the Bloodline story has been phenomenal as have other elements. There is still some gash, but that's what you get with the 'E. I'm not a fan of the new WHC, I think they booked themselves into a hole with Roman. If Rollins gets it i'd change my tune but I worry they are going to put it on Cody.

Re: 6CWF Chat v1 (100th edition)
Absolutely love Roman Reigns and the Bloodline story. Probably the most captivating WWE story in years. Definitely booked themselves into a corner with it but I love a dominant champ. He should have kept the guillotine finisher, however, as that was bada55. Usos have been on another level too. That said I believe Seth Rollins is the best in the world and probably my favourite performer, between him and Gunther.
I hear you though Gazzy there isn’t enough hours in the day which is way I just watch snippets now because I just don’t have the time.
Lucha Underground is more like watching a tv show than a wrestling show and whilst that isn’t to everyone’s taste I love it. You have to suspend your disbelief at times but that’s just Lucha. Like watching Marvel etc. Pentagon Jnr is legendary in it

I'm a huge Gunther fan (preferred him as WALTER). He's going to be a future World Champ.
The roster is so stacked with talent, that much like AEW, WWE often struggle to find places for them all.
I'm also a massive Logan Paul fan. That m'fudger has got 'IT' and he's got it in dripping off him.

On the Bloodline; the ending of the Royal Rumble is the most captivated and engaged i've been in an event since the Invasion. The storytelling, the ending, the way they went about it was incredible.
I'm looking forward to what they do with Solo. I think he's going to either be the catalyst for Reigns going face, or he's going to be huge on his own. He's my pick for the Rumble.
