Campbell Hatton
Was due to make his debut on the undercard of Povetkin vs Whyte on the 6th, will probably fight on the rearranged card at the end of the month.
Does anybody expect much of him or do we think the increased pressure by being Ricky Hattons son will hinder him? Not entirely sold of him being trained by Matthew Hatton, have to feel they could have gone for a more experienced trainer instead of keeping it in the family.

Re: Campbell Hatton
I think there's quite a few sons up and coming at the moment, and not all of them will be great. I think they get a better "leg-up" in the business than their peers because their fathers have the contacts and money to benefit them. However, as you say, it can be a hinderance.
Connor Benn appears to be making a good fist of things (pun unintentional) but Eubank Jr certainly hasn't had things all his own way - shown up by both Saunders and Groves before "redeeming" himself against a shot DeGale. Fernando Vargas' boy and also Hasim Rahman's kid have been boxing too. However, a name will only get you so far - if you're not good enough, you get found out - ask Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
It's very difficult to make a judgement on someone who has yet to have his first pro bout, and even after said bout it's difficult as it will likely be against a journeyman with little hope of an upset - usually KO fodder. Best to make a judgement after the first 5 fights!
