This wasn’t reviewed? Furlong pretty lucky.
Jonker.  Probably a high pen to low yellow though.

Direct reckless contact to the head so a Red going by the laws, we all know that would be a nonsense though.

Johnny isn't a great pundit it must be said. Johnson's not a whole lot better either.

We're finally shorn of Guscott's drivel and that's the new blood! Laugh

Where was the advantage from that knock-on before the pen to Ireland - England were always under pressure ..

When Ireland have the ball that man down is showing. They are either finding space in the fringes or wide. England are defending very well in the circumstances but you can't plug all the gaps forever with that man down. Especially having lost our best defender in Curry as well.

Short knock on advantages are fairly normal. The ruck being formed and jackal not being on the ball are a touch more frustrating.

George is throwing brilliantly. Ireland are competing well but he's throwing those lobs excellently.

And that is poor from Steward to let that bounce...

Brilliant hit from Simmonds to be fair. I've been critical of him but that is a fantastic hit exactly when England needed something.

Yeah hate to repeat the previous but we've consistently won pens bar the first one against Genge where it looked like Furlong collapsed anyway.

George is a very good scrummaging hooker and Healy whilst still a good player not quite the force he once was to be fair. Scrum battles are never as simple as TH vs LH conversations.

As many as the Boks got in a half during the RWC final that most tried to largely put down to Mako's scrummaging...

Well OK. But it was furlong being pinged. Of course its a team effort. But sorry the pack as a whole has been fantastic from the off. Including Lawes.

He had another good game though. Fitness will come with time in the international set-up.

I really like that Randall has found his own role in the defensive system. Youngs is a good cover defender and will sometimes cover for high balls in the back three. Randall is an absolute pest around the fringes and he's started doing that a bit more. Promising signs.

No, but your scrum is anchored from the TH. His inability to control Genge is allowing our TH to really get at Healy. The aerial views show this nicely.

Both sides need to be driven back or it's reset these days. We know you want everyone to think Sinckler is a TH version of Tim Payne but the scrum has dominant on both sides today!
