A phobe!!!

I live in the Home Counties, Galted. Being a phobe is more of hobby round here.
I assumed you meant Mr. and Mrs. Gay. I had a teacher at school called Mr. Gay.
There was also a kid at school called Sean Sex.
You can make up your own jokes.
I have an even taller true story, assuming your story is true of course.
A friend of my aunt's was married for a while to a German or Austrian man whose name is Willie five knuckle shuffle. She tried to convince people that's it's pronounced 'vonk' which was very devious of her.

Got some insects in the garden - the size of a large moth, but seem to have a shell over their wings. Not really looked that closely, but hoping Tino can tell me what they are. Light brown colour (the insects, not Tino).

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
I also have an insect question, Tino.
Every morning I find one (or two) of these tiny watermelon seed-sized white cocoon things on the floor. Looks like cotton at first. Seems to be nothing sticking out of it and driving it around... although I suspected there was something inside watching me very closely and listening to my footsteps.
To save you any worry I've identified what they are.
Plaster bagworms... or household casebearer. Must eventually turn into a small moth of some kind, yeah?
Just to let you all know too. Just over an hour ago (19:13) we reached the winter solstice here.
Although the earliest sunset was back on June 10 and the latest sunrise will be June 30; today we had the least amount of daylight time.
I'm also a disturbing 153,023,000 kilometres from the Sun at present.

Re: Music Section Morning Tea Society
I've had a lot of questions about what I wore for the Paris leg of my journey, especially considering it reached 40C on Saturday.
The base of my ensemble was cargo shorts and sandals, accompanied on alternate days by a Grietjie Nature Reserve t-shirt and my green polo shirt with the stain on the gut area
No-one will be surprised to learn that I received many admiring glances and suggestive smiles from the local fanny (or fanniè as they probably say in France).
The shorts were most handy for storing my wallet, phone and lavender water spray. The sandals kept my feet quite cool and, as we were in a reasonably posh area, I didn't find myself having to wade through piss. I was concerned about their practicality when kicking Gypsies along the Champs Elysées, but it seems that the gendarmerie have done a good job doing that already as there were no beggars to be seen.
I normally give Paris 2/5 but have decided to up that to 3/5, as long as you're dressed correctly.

Nice overseas dispatch, Galted. I'd have though that the sandals might not offer much protection from flaming sheep carcasses, but you don't seem to have encountered any issues on that front.

The very best of British. A powerful image indeed. Bulges on all 5 sides of his cargo pants. No wonder Macron is fast losing his power.

The blue polo shirt I reserve for special occasions as it's Galtova's birthday. Went cycling around Cap-Ferrer despite jr complaining that he doesn't like, amongst other things, cycling, boats, beaches and oceans.
I did a good job not swearing and kicking the f*cking bicycle into the sea when I activated the kickstand before I'd come to a complete stop and jammed my toe between the kickstand and the road.

Just an observation, but Liam Gallagher's music is so, so bad.
Like a really awful Oasis tribute act. Oasis were pretty terrible but Liam is just beyond bad. How did he get all those people to pay to see him at Knebworth.

Morning, all.
Tino, as a Cheshire lad, did you ever read the Alan Garner books?
Was recommending them to a southern colleague today.

I live a few miles East of Alan Garner country. Alderley Edge is WAG central these days, not much magic left but you do, genuinely, see car (or possibly footballer) spotters hanging around on street corners
