Scotland Summer tests against Argentina
First topic message reminder :
So two more matches left on the summer tour for Scotland and we need to see a big improvement to take the series into a deciding leg, next weekend.
We will need to see a big improvement to achieve that and it will involve a working game plan from Toonie and buy in from the players and the skill and patience on their part to make it work.
There is an undeniable feel that Scotland are a team on the slide at the moment and nothing we have seen in the last few games has given us any signs that is not the case. This makes this match on saturday very important. Losing it and in particular losing it with a poor performance is really going to ask more questions about Toonie's future and where this group of players are heading.

Quite rough but presumably lots of fun if you’re 19 and trying to launch your alternative university personality as a woke musician with a colourful selection of bi-curious, vegan, professionally offended friends.
I was there for Bigson's Stag weekend Not at all rough...like Ayr, a pretty seaside town but with added crossdressing. Well public crossdressing. Certainly not tough, a lot lower on the SeeYouJimmy-meter than Ayr.

Thinking more about SA and Ireland rsther than us, who will likely struggle to qualify whichever group they are in.
One of those 2 is likely to get a very tough quarter final!
It’ll come down to Scotland.
Whichever team spanks us the most will top the group
Although it is even possible that Ireland beat SA, SA beat us, we beat Ireland.
No? Oh well

World Cup?
France will explode cataclysmically.
All Blacks are in terminal decline.
Ireland have peaked too early, again.
Engurland have Eddiejonesitis.
Boks can't even beat Wales.
Wales suffer from being Wales.
Scotland v Criminal element in the final. Easy win for the Tombola.

Everywhere is less rough than Ayr at the moment, sadly - town centre and Sandgate in particular have descended into poop. It's not the place where I used to have a genteel coffee and a scone at Hourstons with my folks.jimbopip wrote:George Carlin wrote:I was in Brighton 3 weeks ago.

Cafe on the top floor, wall to wall tweed skirts and lavender hair. And that was just the men.

Brighton is a truly bonkers place at the best of times. That’s why the sensible folks among us live in Hove and only venture into Brighton itself when we want to be entertained. Sometimes all that takes is to catch a glimpse of the bloke who’s decided to spend every day dressed as a Regency gentleman (I’m not even joking https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-sussex-48757020). Or if you want the full Ayr experience you can go and hang out with the junkies at the Level. Endless opportunities!

Toonie finally cracked the encryption code on the old Edinburgh playbook. All he found inside were those 4 magic words.

Did Scotland really just throw away a penalty advantage to let Argentina score?

Duhan.
He’s outrageous
Decided he’s not getting the ball enough out on the wing so decides to come into the forwards to poach one.
We really need to put him to stud in the off season.
