England post 2022 6Ns, Aus tour and beyond
First topic message reminder :
Hate to say it and I don't wish him injured but I'm glad Ewels not available!
If you're disappointed with Malins and Daly being selected, imagine how most of us feel about Youngs being there.
In fairness, Malins and Daly been superb this season but please give Radwan and Arundell a run.

We still don't look like we have any kind of attacking game plan. Headless chicken stuff at times.

Our play from kick offs is rubbish. From both offence and defence.

Brilliant scrum. Great scavenging from Curry I think supported by LCD.

Yep - half of Argentina's points have come from restart errors ...

I don't feel like there is as much scrutiny on the offside line for them as us, we are being hammered for it, but they've been offside on a number of occasions and it just doesn't seem to be picked up.

Not a great game, but we've coughed the ball up when attacking their line twice. We could (and should) be almost out of sight here.

Well apart from the obvious sub surely we should be looking to bring on the forwards from the bench early else what's the point of 6 2?

Indeed as I said earlier Brace is not a great ref and at least one of the ARs is blind going from that earlier non knock-on not picked up right in front of him ...

Has EJ not done his homework on the restarts? I have watched a lot of recent Argentinian games and they have a lot of variations on the restart. england don't seem to be expecting them

Yep England have done all the attacking and seem to have the edge in the scrum. Argentina being kept in the game by England restart errors and bad ref calls ...

More silly catching errors. 2 blatant ones being Coles and Steward under no pressure knocking on. Greasy ball but you'd expect both to catch it.

This is a hard watch, even allowing for the weather.
We don't have enough pace in the back line for deep kicks, and a chase to keep Argentina back in their own half, so they are getting much too easy access to our half.

Several England players taking an extra roll when going to ground, fortunate not to get pinged.
Too many unforced errors but conditions don't help.
Coles looks good, one drop not withstanding.

Yep, we've picked a power backline (at the expense of pace), yet we seem to be playing it like the opposite is true.

Their front row also hit the deck first. The resulting penalty leads to a try...

No it doesn't. Not in the slightest. He might have grazed the ball but "might" is not enough to make the call. No deviation, no change in spin. How slow was steward as well? Need a fast runner at 15

Abject performance from England. Argentina have hardly done anything, but they've scored 24 points through various England errors.
Stop picking Youngs, for heaven's sake. Every time England get into the opposition 22, Youngs ruins the chance.

Come on England. You can see them trying to force it as theres no option but slow ball and no pace.
