England post 2022 6Ns, Aus tour and beyond
First topic message reminder :
Hate to say it and I don't wish him injured but I'm glad Ewels not available!
If you're disappointed with Malins and Daly being selected, imagine how most of us feel about Youngs being there.
In fairness, Malins and Daly been superb this season but please give Radwan and Arundell a run.

No it doesn't. Not in the slightest. He might have grazed the ball but "might" is not enough to make the call. No deviation, no change in spin. How slow was steward as well? Need a fast runner at 15
You can see the change in spin though.
Not on the replays shown. do you have your own replays?

Why is the TMO trying to get involved in that nothing incident?!

How obvious does Jonker have to be before he gets banned from TMOing England matches?

You can see the change in spin on the ones shown. Look at the logo and writing on the ball.

Joncker always tries to involve himself in the game.

Shoulder to JVP's head but because it's Jonker it's the "shoulder"

Nowell really isn't showing any threat even in the tight exchanges.

I'm not sure that's true. Think it was the second of 3rd pen in the first half he picked up.

That dive into the ruck by Argentina for example should have been at least a yellow - as it was shoulder first even if it hit the shoulder not head

If England know what their strengths are, they seem determined not to play to them.

Re: England post 2022 6Ns, Aus tour and beyond
We've looked better since van Poortvliet came on but we've had enough ball to be out of sight. Just really disappointing that the selection has come home to bite us. We've not shown real dominance that should have come from selecting a pack and backs designed to power. Frankly we look like SA, big but lacking any appetite to entertain.

Argentina quite likely going win this. Or more to point England lose it.

Time to put Youngs out to pasture....JVP has to start.
Steward is even slower than I thought....looked like he was running in mud.

This has been one of the worst displays I've seen from England. So much ball, so little incision. England have dominated ball and territory (65% and 75%), but have still managed to concede 30 points. That's an embarrassment.

England dreadful but so were the officials gifting Argentina a minimum of 8 points

Poor showing throughout tbh. Nowell, Farrell offering nothing in attack. So stodgy....so easy to defend.

Re: England post 2022 6Ns, Aus tour and beyond
I know we are hit with injuries and poor weather but that was so bad.
We desperately need a proper 12, at least 1 fit fast winger and Ben Youngs to never be seen in an England camp again.
Oh, and Marius Jonker to officiate on other matches that don't involve England

And thee ref didn't give a pen for the high tackle by Newall or the foot up hit in the air on the jumper.
its not the refs fault you lost. IMO its a slow set of backs. Faster backs would have scored more and stopped the breakaway try. there is no substitute for pace

Re: England post 2022 6Ns, Aus tour and beyond
Not good enough that. It sounds as if Jones and England are using this as a mini world cup...if so you've just gone out playing boring rugby with no pace and ambition. There are players playing here because they have 'leadership' and are seemingly good blokes like Nowell and Youngs. That doesn't help if they are no longer good enough to play at this level.

Hopefully we get shot of him now and get someone in to at least give us a chance In the 6n and Wc

True enough horrendous decision for that Argentina score from the knock on but a better decision than starting Nowell and Youngs!

I've never been so glad for the ref to blow for the end of the match. 66% territory and possession and managed to give away 14 penalties, that's village.
