What is a REALISTIC price for Charlie Adam ?
First topic message reminder :
According to most newspapers Charlie Adam will be leaving Blackpool for either Liverpool or Aston Villa this week .
My question is how much can Blackpool realistically think they can get for him given he only has under a year left on his contract ? in january both Liverpool and Spurs offered in the region of £6 million to which Ian holloway said he was worth £45 million to Blackpool to aide them in staying up .
Now they are in the championship and Adam has stated he wants to leave to play in the Premiership what will the price be that sees him leave

I agree we have far to many average players brought in on big wages , but i do think 5-6 will leave before the season starts probably take a loss on them though.

So.... it seems £7m is the price that has been paid.
Adam is doubtless a decent player, but good enough for Liverpool?
What do LFC fans think? Are you happy? Will he start? If so where?
What about Downing who, will also sign this week?

7 million seems reasonable enough when you consider the exhorbitant money paid for Milner and Barry by City, both of whom he is considerably better than.
And then if you look at as yet unproven players like Jordan Henderson, Phil Jones , overpriced players like Ashley Young and unproven players like Andy Carrol then it seems like a bit of a bargain.

You'll hear all sorts of different prices, some leaked from the clubs themselves. Tony Barrett in The Times is rarely wrong about all things Liverpool so he's the best bet for an accurate price.

I think about 7 million with todays prices.
He is only 25 and has a fantastic premier league season behind him.

3 million is realistic for Charlie Adam
Bit overrated, he will struggle for Liverpool.

I think £6.5million is a fairly good price when you look at how the transfer market is going, but also I don't see that Liverpool need him or cover for centre midfield. I'm interested to see how far his stats differ from the 35 appearances and 12 goals last season.
Does anyone know who Liverpool are rumoured to be looking to sell?

I think the list has been mention before but if they can it looks like Poulsen Aquilani Cole Jovanavic Degan Ngog Konchesky Insua Jones Agger also Maxi is suppose to be looking for a move back to Argentina and Meireles is suppose to interesting a few Italian clubs .
there was also talk today of letting some of the reserves go Ince and Bruna but hope not yes loan them out but i wouldnt sell them .

Re: What is a REALISTIC price for Charlie Adam ?
JD whats this grape against Liverpool in general.
Anyway considering he scored 13 and assisted 9 (and yes I know about 6 were pens!), and the fact the Modric scored 3 and assisted 2 and is being touted for around 27 million, I think its a very shrewd purchase. He will be taking corners and some free kicks which enable Gerrard (whose one of our best headerers of the ball) to be in the box along with Carrol and Kyri and Srktel. His delivery will make us more dangerous and from set pieces, therefore more goals. He also has the ability to put the killer pass thorugh.
Middlesborough had any joy so far?

If Charlie can create 10-15 goals next season for the strikers i will be more then happy with that , plus hes a good dead ball and pen taker
