We have not even looked like scoring a try.
Wales deserve their lead.
We're pathetic

Dropping the ball every time they get an opportunity has been killing England

Who whiffed on the tackle attempt on North? I didn't see, the replays were poor..

Theo Dan did well there to be fair after missing his first throw as an interantional. Hit his man at a pressure lineout then stayed in play when the maul wheeled close to touch.
Then his third throw gets turned over. Not so good.
Being realistic I'd say we've seen more fringe selections for the 33 playing themselves out of contention than into selection.

He's been good there for Sarries when I've seen him. Wales are targeting England's two jumpers very effectively since he's come on though and he's now 1 from 4.Sgt_Pooly wrote:This is impressively bad......so Dan can't throw...now we know.
And another poor handling error.

Next week is getting to be a bit of a pressure game for us now. The first team lads are coming back in but it'll be the same tactics. This is abysmal.

So this improved scrum I'd been reading about on this forum, any idea where it is?

Honestly think Pearson has got away with one there. They get that to ground where it's usually ruled a ruck, Pearson gets on top after that. Good from Pearson to stay in the fight and win the turnover at the end of the day but a lucky call IMO.
Pearson has been impressive throughout along with Ludlam and Genge in the forwards.
Rodd and Dan in the scrum now. And a pressured position to scrummage first up!

There is no spark. Genge looks knackered, Malins is not good enough, Cokanasiga is a lump, is Porter even on the pitch?
The heads have dropped, it's France over again.
I'm going to Twickenham for the Fiji match. Considering not going...

England need two scores and who are the real dynamic playmakers who can make a difference? None.

More than that. What's the plan to get back in the game? Passive breakdown, has there just been the 1 turnover there? Kicking tactic not working but clearly the coaches have said that's the only plan. Only 2 decent moves by the harlequins guys so they'll be disciplined for playing off game plan.

I like Rio Dyer. There's something very likable about sportsman than just run like someone being chased by a Lion. Pure energy.

Painful number of handling errors. We could and should have put this game to bed in the first half.
Borthwick will be fuming.
Dan, Porter, Hill and maybe others will have confirmed their place back with their clubs next week.

You think multiple garryowens is not a dynamic attacking strategy???????No 7&1/2 wrote:doctor_grey wrote:England need two scores and who are the real dynamic playmakers who can make a difference? None.

Well it's become one of those games where if you weren't involved your stock has soared.

I think we need to make some of the so-called England speedsters train by being chased by a hungry leopard.

Wonder if we'll show something further than 3 carries then kick next week, maybe extend ourselves to 4 carries?

Surely his left hand has knocked the ball forward before the right hand touches it down

Well, that was dire.
Wales played some decent stuff in the 2nd half. I can't recall anything of real note from us....utter tosh. I can't really think of any positives.

Utterly dreadful. Never been less enthused about England going into a World Cup. Lot of talk about England's soft draw, but they'll actually struggle to get past Japan.
