Thankyou Tennis Gods
Thankyou Tennis Gods for granting my wish. I havn't even looked at the rest of the draw as I intend to keep my promise and not complain.
Tennis Gods being what they are I'm sure there will be some surprises and the odd banana skin to keep us amused throughout the fortnight. Hopefully some fun matches featuring Djokovic, Murray, Ward and other fan favourites. However I feel quite optimistic now that it is (more) in the hands of two mere mortals that we may well get a final fit for tennis gods.
This is really looking way ahead but it would be great if Nadal and Federer do make it to the final they produce something that will make even fans of other players glad that they were put on opposite sides of the draw.

I am disgusted with the draw!!!! Just kidding.
Seems a reasonable draw. May the best man win

When I saw the first bit of your post I was shocked... and then I saw the second bit. I can understand your dissapointment so to say that proves you are a genuine tennis fan. May the best man win but not without others putting up a fight.

Well hawkeye is Murray is to win a Grand Slam I would sooner he beat the best players. Federer and Nadal come under that category. If he can do it, fantastic, if not, I hope we have a worthy champion.

Can we really accept that this draw was made without being fixed?
Federer and Nadal avoid each other for a semi final yet again.
Isner v Mahut..... draw is so predictable

Did you know that if you throw a coin... say 10 times the chances of predicting any sequence is 1 in 1024. It doesn't matter what the sequence is. It could be HHHHHHHHHH or TTTTTTTTTT or HTHTHTHTHT or HHHTTHTHTT or any other sequence. Also say by some freak occurrence you throw a coin 1,OOO times and get Tails every time. The chance of getting a Tail next time you throw the coin is 1 in 2 (exactly the same chance as getting a Head). Sorry if this is obvious to some but I'm always surprised at how often people are surprised by this.
As for Isner v Mahut. Thats just the Tennis Gods having a laugh! Ha ha!

Don't be brainwashed
Wimbledon sadly is trying to ensure a Fedal final, which they expect will largely increase viewers, after last years awful final (Berdych lol)
I for one am bored seeing Fedal finals as Fed is too stubborn to take his chances.

I agree, last year's final was just dull, Berdych was hyped up as the 'future' and a giant slayer, I think less of a giant slayer than reflection of how much Federer had fallen.
Fedal finals are admittedly not everyone's flavour of the month, but I'd pick it any day over the total borefest that was Nadal vs Berdych. However, maybe some people enjoyed it, good for them!
