Yeah, I wasn't overly impressed with much about that fight in all honesty. I mean, what did Lebedev prove? That it took him what, nine and a half rounds longer to flatten Jones than it took Danny Green?!? Lebedev was flat out expected to total Jones, so anything other than a swift demolition job merely shows up Lebedev's own inadequacies.

hey guys. Sorry to litter the board bt just wanted all you good 606 peeps to know i have just started a boxing blog of my own. I will be doing fight predicitons, recaps, boxing news, polls and plenty more once i get into the swing of it. Also (for the mods here) i plan to PROMOTE 606V2, i think we have some great posters on here so i will be flowing traffic this way too. The blog is new but i will be posting regularly and would be very happy to have any of you on there. He has tried a bit - but his engine has gone now as well. You can't teach an old do new tricks - and he's still trying to adapt his reflexes to the situation at hand. Against Lebedev Roy outoxed him a couple of times - took at least 2 of the cards on my scorecard. But it looked like each round he won took him about 2 further rounds to recover. In the end he was pretty exhausted, which didn't help the brutal nature of the KO.

After watching Hamed vs Augie Sanchez again I decided to do some research into what happened to Augie afterwards. It turns out he won a couple of fights and then was knocked out badly in his last fight against John Michael Johnson in the 1st round. After this at 24 years of age his licence was revoked because of the nature of the loss to Johnson and previously his loss to Hamed, also a bad KO. How come Augie Sanchez gets his licence taken away but no one has stepped in to stop Jones from taking anymore bad KO losses.
