Finally, they start the side of the draw that I am most interested in. Chardy and Anderson are two potentially tough matchups for Novak in rounds 1 and 2. Roger as usual has a very cupcake draw.

Chardy is a potentially tricky opener for Djokovic, but I expect the world n°2 to come through fairly comfortably. Not impossible that he'll drop a set though. What's the weather forecast looking like?

Forecast is a bit better than yesterday - about 50/50 as to whether Wimbledon will catch a heavy shower, but it's not expected to last all that long if they do.

With regard to the roof, is there the option to close the roof between matches if there is the expectation of rain during the match, or do they have to wait for the rain to start?

What do you mean by 'Roger as usual has a very cupcake draw'?

Was his FO draw a cupcake? His draws have been no more or less easy than any of the other top players over the years. Perhaps, his draws always look easy to you because, on paper, even now (at the twilight of his career) there are very few players who actually have a realistic chance of beating him? Sometimes the draw can work out to be favourable, ala Nadal at the USO last year, but these things even themselves out over time.

BTW socal, were you not FA in your 606 incarnation?

Does anyone know if the Irish chap Niland will be on TV? I know he is playing later on but will it be on the red button?

If he wins he will probably play Federer. He has a 100% record against Fed apparently. Beat him in an U-14 match in the 90's Laugh

I said yesterday that Stepanek would win that one.... still potential for a 5 set turnaround from Nando.... but i dont see it happening!

The Federer BH is looking solid. If Federer is to win Wimbledon, he needs to keep this shot consistently. Leads 6-5 in the first.

Verdasco through 9-7 in the 5th

Looby beats Cilic. Is on course to be Murray's 3rd round opponent.

Tipsarevic retired agaisnt Dr Ivo - presumably with a cricked neck.

Watching Baggy against Blake. Baggy in danger of winning a match here (but it is Court 18 and therefore anything can happen).

Would be good to see Baghdatis getting back to winning ways (apologies to Blake fans).

Good wins for Fed and Djoko earlier, can't believe they both dropped so few point, they're both in great form.

Shame, 4-2 up in the 5th, to lose 6-4.

Good to see a fair bunch of irish fans cheering him on.

Would love to see an good up and coming irish star.

Order of play out for tomorrow. Murray second on court one.

Surprising, they usually have him on late so people can watch it... And also, Murray unusually not on centre!

Weather forecast is dodgy too.
