What’s the beef with Kevin Steen?

Over the past few days Kevin Steen has been on a mission to appear this weekend at the Ring of Honor PPV. He’s been tweeting away and has wrote an open letter of apology to ROH.
What though did he do in the first place?

In all honesty, I am not too sure. His last actions before he left ROH was that he attacked and unmasked El Generico. He teamed with Steve Corino and they were probably the biggest heels in the company prior to them both leaving.

The real reason that he left ROH was because of budget cuts so I too am a little a lost to what is going on with him not being allowed back in the building.

at final battle 2010 he had a match with generico in which if he lost he'd leave roh forever and never come back.

It seems though that there's some heat on him and I wondered if anyone had any insight?
