Titans game is a toughy as both are dreadful!
Hard to pick against NZ at home but Storm look really good.
Penrith have been drilled hard this week and told to sharpen up their attitudes and appearence. Add in Jennings losing his $ and Laurie getting boot; I fancy Penrith to show Gus what they're made off. On the flip JT may have big point or be worried about ref positioning! Sims is out too, NQ don't travel all that well so I'm locking in on Penny Panthers and will probably get burnt!

I just think the Sharks have always struggled up north, the Titans are also desparate to come away with a win.
Parra looked to have a lot of potential on Monday night - but it has been very cold in Canberra - many teams struggle there or don't like playing there.
Panthers play better at home but thinking NQ will want to reinforce position in top 4. You could be right, NQ complacent after JT got off charges (correct, imo)
Slightly worried about Manly - Dragons have lost their last few matches and will want to appease fans in the upgraded Win Stadium down at the Gong.

Re: NRL picks 24-27 June
Warrior,
Shocking selections on here but I did better on Fantasy tips...I actually picked Bulldogs, Souths, Cronulla & Bulldogs and was coming "1st" on Saturday night. (South win was my special pick so I cleaned up there). Dropped the Newcastle-Chooks one (selected Easts..don't know why, they are in hopeless form) but I picked Panthers & Storm.
2/7 on here so far - should have followed my picks above.
NSW Origin Squad of 20 named this evening:
Paul Gallen (c)
Greg Bird
Ben Creagh
Michael Ennis
Keith Galloway (debut)
Mark Gasnier
Kurt Gidley *
Jarryd Hayne
Michael Jennings *
Luke Lewis
Tim Mannah
Trent Merrin
Anthony Minichiello
Brett Morris
Mitchell Pearce
Beau Scott *
Jamie Soward
Glenn Stewart (returns)
Akuila Uate
Anthony Watmough
* subject to recovery from injury

I thought I was in for a shocker after going 0-2 on Friday, sitting happy on my 5-7 and hoping Manly do the business later!

Re: NRL picks 24-27 June
Damn it, Manly lost...but as long as they win at the business end of the season it can be put down to a hard lesson tonight. I still think they can beat them on their day; maybe when St George are having a slightly 'off' day.
The Dragons were monumental in defence - 36 cracks at the line during that period in the first half and they still held strong. Manly will need to find other ways to get across the line when they next meet. Saints took full advantage of the few critical errors and defensive laspses Manly made and scored each time. It was a great game to watch - full of all the intensity you'd expect between those old rivals.

I thought Bennett would have the Dragons on cruise control untill after O3, guess this game was to big to take foot off.
One of those tips that afterwards you think why? STG at home always makes more sense even with the few injuries.
Will Soward miss Origin? Who goes to 5/8 if he does?

They're talking about bringing Carney back in if Soward is declared unfit - apparently the scan was clear, just a slight aggravation of his hamstring.
In news just in:
Ivan Cleary is going to the Panthers next year, maybe Kevin Iro will be joining him on the coaching staff.
Matt King - about to be (or already has?) been signed up by the Rabbitohs

Re: NRL picks 24-27 June
I'm hearing Luke Lewis to 5/8, seems a waste to me as he's an excellant edge runner and did a number on JT the other night.
If Sticky thinks Hayne is a 5/8 then maybe he should back his statement!
