First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be? appletini

Well there you go, Dreamer!

I don't like the way they pounce on the players as soon as they've come off court. I've I'd just played a match I'd be inclined to tell them to do one. They give a press conference later anyway, just wait for that.

I agree with you there, give them time to themselves first. At least at the All England club, they let the players off court, unlike in some of the other Grand Slam events they have some buffoon interviewing them on the court.

Also I don't like it happening in rugby. Sometimes the player doesn't get to clap the opposition off the pitch.

Gibbo, that is a terrible joke - that's my kind of standard!

This could be a great match now. I'd love del Potro to win, not because I don't like Nadal but because del Potro's had such a bad injury.

It's fairly bad Lucky. But it was an urge I couldnt resist.

What's that all about then? Its like purging it from yer brain and laying it on others.

Like a bad choon you can't get out of your hid. It helps to hum it and mess up others with it. I believe strongly in sharing my psychosis. Very healthy. Not for others mind.

Like this Kajagoogoo track I can't get rid of at the minute... Heard it when out cycling today.

Please share the pain.

Any song can come in to your head at any time. If I'm lucky, it's a song I actually like, but half the time (in my experience) it's a song I can't stand. Why does my brain remind me of songs that it itself doesn't like?

Swanny - what Cari said! OK

Just bought the Leinster DVD, going to have a cracking night on me toblerone and watch that!

It's cooling down here, but very dark and humid. Think we'll have a storm tonight.

And it's so horrible and humid out, I don't like it. I would like a thunderstorm please Smile

Overcast in Brentford now. I was almost a puddle on the walk in, should be interesting on the way back to the hotel.

In other news, I may be in the background on a few interviews on BBC2 tonight at 21:00. There was some filming taking place here a few weeks ago and 15 feet from my desk.

I used to be terrified of thunderstorms, but I'm much better now. I will watch one from indoors, but I'm not too comfortable being outside in one. In Cardiff we don't get that many anyway, and I haven't seen a bad one for a couple of years. In West Wales on the coast, we had massive storms at times.

Back home I used to always have to sit up with my dog when there was a storm coz she was terrified of them, but I do like them. As long as I have a torch with me in case the power goes off I'm all okay Smile

So Cari, you looked at flights yet? Few things coming up for me in August. Son's Masters bash, sister coming over, trip to Donegal with my mate. Yada yada... please let me know pal. Ok!
