The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

He's following you Staggy...you must've really pished him off! Awh...have a and relax for a bit.
Ah I don't need a cuppa I'll be fine. He just kept quoting consumer laws and rights that simply don't exist. Threatening legal action. I called his bluff and told him thats fine to go chat to his solicitor.

It's annoying when people use armchair law in those kind of situations because they're often totally inaccurate.

The only bit of Wales I've really seen are the forest near Corris-Euchaf, the inside of the pub down the road from the Youth Hostel there. I've also been in several other forests in Wales whilst marshalling what was the RAC Rally, which is now just the Rally of Wales (GB)

They usually are. Programmes like Watchdog are great but they give people unrealistic expectations.

if this 606 band needs a drummer or a tuba player, I am on it.
I also know some tunes on the glockenspiel and 1 song on the trumpet. and 1 song on the bag pipes.

I used to play the glockenspiel when I was in junior school Micky, but other than that I'm more groupie material than musician
Prop - you seem OK with that...and Glos. isn't far away by any means so you cans till pop back over here regularly Just means you'll have to get a season ticket for Glaws.

I have no idea.
You should try directing the question at him.
I did permanently ban him from the 606 Rugby Board Members Facebook group. This was after consultation with all the admins of the group and after a couple of the other admins, both Welsh, had banned him. The Rev was one who banned him one night but I think he'd had an argument with some alcohol and the alcohol won

Ah we used to go to Pendine every year, I wasn't a big fan especially after the group I was in got lost orienteering. Food was awful too Pendine dinners, Pendine dinner, concrete chips! concrete chips!
Only been to Llangranog once, I hated it, they kept making me go on the dry ski slope and I was officially rubbish. Would be very happy if I never went back there!

The worst band name I've ever heard was actually "Crystalised Movements". I kid you not. I think that name's stuck with me cause it's so bad.
Munsty/Micky - I'm very likely to be in Dub for the Quarter Finals at the end of July

Yeh Cari, Mickado was saying. Depending on the dates, it might be tight for me, but I will do my best to be around. so as soon as you have exact dates, holla at me.

Micky - I'm not sure how far we'd get with that name...sounds a bit like a novelty band. What sort of music are we doing? Rock with a bit of tuba?
Booking flights tomorrow Micky. It's very likely to be the Thursday to the Monday - just waiting to see which seat I can park my bum on. Would be fab if you're around, but if not that's cool too. I know it's short notice.

It's not too bad. Will look better without the big O2 and when they're playing, those shiny bits around the breasts won't be as noticeable.

I think the neck/colar is much better on this one though. the other one is/was too wide.
I will probably pick it up anyway

I would buy it if I could afford it. I gave my one to the Turkish guy in my house. He shall forever be an Irish rugby supporter now.
To be honest, I think you can only really judge it when you see somebody wearing it.

Yeh Cari, and the FANS version can act like a bra for the rest of us.
Yeh Munsty, I will wait until I see it on someone.
Luck, I would prefer the old Green myself if I had a choice, but this is the colour we will be going with for the foreseeable no doubt

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Hi all something I was thinking Irish regz. How badly would rugby be hit if the GAA decided it would be fully professional?
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Not as badly as GAA which would fold as it would not be able to field over 40 pro sides.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
If GAA went pro, they'd have to restructure it to have less teams wouldn't they? That could have the same effect as when Welsh rugby went regional...fans not interested in supporting a region. Not sure how many teams you would have or how they would restructure competitions though. If it aint broke...
