The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Ah Pete is Mrs LDC ok man? When it is someone really close, a family needs time.
MrsG's bro died in Jan. Major shock. The family gathered and eased the pain.
Love you man. If I had jubblies Id marry ya.
Hold a cotton pickin ... - I DO!
More beer.
Mock De Week!
Nite Dreamer. Slaap lekker.

She's taking it tough to be honest Gibbo. Her cousin, whose mum it is who died, and her are very close, she was chief bridesmaid at our wedding.
She's only 24, that's no age to lose your mam.

Oh God man. You know, we moan. About phhokall sometimes. But we are still here to moan. The beauty of it all is, the best human reaction to death and loss. That she has MrsLDC to cuddle her. And be with her now. It will strenghen their ties even more. That's the beauty of it.
Life.
Dying to see you again tbh.

Is it wrong to lust after Kirsty Wark?
I dont care. Her intelligence, cultural-awareness and knowledge - turns me on.
She's a mental ride.

Grand man. Going to a bash on Sat, in Den Haag. Saffer mate of mine is 50. He was a bigger animal than me - in his day. But, they had to re-assemble his heart a few months back. The wimp.
It will be a huge 2-day bash. I may never come back from it. But, know this little bro - I always loved you.

Not getting sentimental. This party will be like... well. I was thinking of not going. Did you see Apocalypse Now? Think that on combustable intake. I have no self-control with these people. And the missus is away.
Im a good boy now. But this porty could finish me.
Next week will be great man. Really looking forward to it.
Round up the Usual Suspects. Niiice.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Oh god I am knackered tired. One of my mates has had a few things on his mind so my solution was to have a beer at my gaff and talk them out. That was at 10pm last night. It was after 3.30am when I got to bed. Only 3 hours sleep after having 8 or 9 beers Still though he needed that chat so I don't mind at all.
Needless to say I am gonna do as little as possible in work today
Pete thats awful about your Aunt-in-law pal. I hope your wife's doing ok.
Got a family day tomorrow - a christening with myself as Godfather. I've seen too many Al Pacino movies so maybe I've a hazy idea of what the job entails

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Ha Staggy. You've got the loverug to be Al Pacino all right
That was good of you to sit with your pal...did you really need the beer though? You won't get sympathy for that
I'm aching all over after yesterday I feel like I've done a tough session at the gym.

luckless, just don't make a mess in that corner, took ages to clean last time
stag, is it a boy or girl being christened? If it is a girl, as godfather your traditional responsibility is to keep her in shoes until she is 18......
Good luck with that.
So mens semi final today then people, is Monsieur Murray going to finally conquer his demons, or will Rafa hand him his bum on a plate as usual?

RUMOUR: about the new Munster jerseys
- The away kit is rumoured to be white with 6 very thin coloured hoops across the middle - 2 Blue, 2 Green, 1 Red, 1 Yellow - they represent Waterford, Tipperary, Limerick, Kerry, Cork and Clare; the Munster counties
- The home jersey has a red 'collar' and placket instead of navy, and has lost the yellow piping. The adidas stripes are navy.

Cari - beer was necessary. Men being men talking about feelings doesn't always go down well. As they say "In Vino Veritas" so we had a few drinks.

Well I am an idiot. I thought the pub had been locked down because it wouldn't let me post. but I never thought to check that I was signed out.

Stag, I do like that the concept of the jersey. I didn't know they were due to release one.
I have tried on my Leinster Jersey a few times. I like it. I really like it now.

In other news a neighbour and former team and class mate of mine has been added to the Munster senior squad. Sean Scanlon plays in the back 3. Didn't think he'd make the call up to be honest. Was terrific at schools level but seemed to have got stuck at Munster A level before this. Only 22 so still time on his side.

I'm down in Sir Benfro next week.
I really like new Wales tops and I'm glad they've got shot of the blue tops - they just looked more like French ones to me. What's with rugby tops having moob support on the front though?

I think it solves the main issue I had with regards the colar area of the old jersey. I think the bit on the chest isn't my favourite. but I said the same about the 07 jersey and loved that when I got it. still one of my fav jerseys

Happy? With Ireland? Never
The hexagon pads on the chest, the IRFU logo embossed onto it it all just looks weird.

I would suggest just give it a chance to see it in person.
I have hated a lot of jerseys only for them to appear a bit better in person.
That type of stuff on the 07 jersey every one thought looked horrible as well. but I loved it in the end.
the IRFU I wouldn't be a fan of but still worth waiting and seeing it in person
