Wimbledon Day 8 - Page 7 Empty Wimbledon Day 8

Post by legendkillar Mon 27 Jun 2011, 8:15 am

First topic message reminder :

Tennis fans what a treat for the day.

Murray v Gasquet
Nadal v Del Potro
Federer v Youzhny
Djokovic v Llodra

Where is the banana skin?? I think Llodra could upset 2011's Iron Man Novak Djokovic given that he has been serving well all championship and has a solid net game.

Also the side dish of today's play is
Kubot v Lopez
Fish v Berdych
Ferrer v Tsonga
Malisse v Tomic

"del Potro warmly congratulated Nadal putting an arm around him"

Looks good for all watching including Rafa but really means nothing.

He couldn't obviously show his true feelings now could he!

If there was any ill feeling then what an actor he is that is all I can say. Warm embrace and with a big smile warmly applauded the crowd before departing the scene. No scowling, no sulking. NOTHING.

Where's the proof he faked an injury? Like I said if your making an allegation, back it up.

Any coaching during matches, Nadal has been penalised. Any other time, unless your a lip-reader or mind reader then I can't see how you can tell.

I would love to see the proof. I can't wait

he has faked it in the past, no wonder he has the reputation

next thing you will be preaching to me is that coaching is all ok and well within the rules.

why not take one more step and take some pills too well its the winning that counts

Reword that please to, in your opinion, he has faked it in the past Whistle

Cheers.

it's brilliant this thread: the Rafa fans have long retreated to their fan thread, so it's left to the Murray fans to defend Rafa against the Fed fans.

This is what Nadal said:

In the first set I thought I'd have to retire but the tape changed the position of the foot and when I pushed hard I was able to continue, but was in a little bit of pain.

what a difference a piece of tape can make..He should join the A team, miracles can happen, all you need is tape!

I am locking this thread as people seem not to know what the difference between opinion and allegation.

After lots of requests of proof and even a poster spelling out how to address an opinion, it defies belief.

Stupidity is still on the rise.
