Are they REALLY going to screw the fans and not include Joe in the AJ vs Daniels match?

REALLY?

My only thought on that Samo is that I do worry if they book the match again, they are tempting fate, and over egging the cake so to speak (is that a saying?)

They've done that match twice and it was immense both times - why risk souring the repuatation of the match with an inferior third?

I suppose you're right in that respect ED. It just seems a bit shaddy after teasing it all this time.

Yeah - it would be weird not including him after teasing it.

Though you know you have to leave your sense of logic at the arena door with TNA at times Laugh

Another random face turn too.

I really don't know what to make of the RVD v Jerry Lynn match as both are past it. As for Samoa Joe, supposedly he is facing Kaz.

RVD vs Jerry Lynn fought one of my favourite WWE TV (non PPV) matches ever - on Sunday Night Heat no less. So I'm up for watching it

Yeah, I am a massive fan of that match also Demon and will look forward to watching their match at the PPV but in recent weeks RVD just doesn't seem interested. I don't want this match to destroy any legacy of the match mentioned prior.

Yeah, it was a brilliant match. Definitely up there in my favourite non PPV matches of all time. I just don't want this match to be a complete flop!

RVD will ruin the match, he just doesnt look bothered anymore.

Daniels vs Styles should be good, altho Styles should be world champion

I really can't understand why he's doing the whole Joker thing now? I could sort of understand if it was when the film had just been released, but it was three years ago now and just seems strange that they'd use it.

Sting used the Crow gimmick long after the original Crow film with Branden Lee came out! I think Steve has a penchant for using film personas - his Crow gimmick was a touch of genius (always will be one of my all time favourite wrestling gimmicks) and I really think this could be the last big new incarnation of Sting we see! He could carry on as the Joker Sting until he retires and it definitely would put an exclamation mark on his career! I look forward to seeing him. OK

I watched TNA last night and thought the Joker rip-off was stupid. Sting played it really well, no doubt, but I don't understand why he's doing it. It shows a real lack of creativity.

Why? The Joker is an iconic film and pop culture character - he is synonymous with evil and if Sting is meant to be going crazy or having a mental breakdown then why not borrow from him? Sting made the Crow character his own and I'm sure he can do it again with the Joker. Besides wrestling itself is cyclical - storylines are rehashed, moves are borrowed and used by different generation stars - i.e. Daniel Bryan has been given the Labelle Lock, which was Benoit's Crossface; Orton is now using Angle's Olympic Slam, Angle himself used Shamrock's anklelock. I've heard it said that wrestling goes round in 7 year cycles - Cenanation is the new Hulkamania etc Let's face it practically everything's been done before in wrestling, it's about doing it well. Why reinvent the wheel? If the whole face v heel dynamic works keep it and create well defined and believable faces and heels. From my own knowledge no-one else has adapted film characters the way Sting has. No one else has used the Joker gimmick (accept Mysterio at Mania 25 but that was a homage not a reinvention of himself).

Yeah, reusing wrestling stories makes sense, but taking from a three year old film, to randomly invent a new side to his character seems really dodgy.

Thousands of Wrestlers have taken gimmicks/ideas from film/book characters through the years, its very unlikely that guys choose characters that are fresh as it would appear like a cheap rip off
