Don't forget the results of Nadal's MRI scan also!
On his broken foot ... umm no wait, it's a tendon isn't it? .. Achilles tendon, right? Or stress fracture .. yesterday it was stress fracture.
Or perhaps the tape had on his foot was the wrong way around, but the trainer put that right and he played another 3 sets.
No it's stress fracture/achilles tendon/WTF who knows

Great win for Cibulkova - she really went for it. Caro's defensive play will never win her a slam. She is also very boring to watch. If she wants to be defensive, she must learn from Rafa - great defensive and followed up with an attack.
Centre Court
Lisicki v Bartoli : my favourite girl of the tour Lisicki should win but I am sure the bunny Bartoli will give her a tough match.
Cibulkova v Sharapova: Maria should win on papers but it is a women's match - you never know.

Lisicki for me, she's been fantastic to watch, 3 setter though.
I think Shara looks impressive at the moment, as a few have said, it's hers to lose.

BBC Sport understands that Rafa Nadal's foot injury is not serious.

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
really looking forward to Lisicki v Bartoli, that one looks like it could be a great one.
Hope Cibulkova beats Sharapova, for my ears alone. Don't think Sharapova's been that great this tournament, again her serve isn't consistant at all.
Can't really call the other two at all!

Not generating much interest this.
Well done Lisicki - a great story on her return from injury, maybe she'll keep on the upwards trajectory after this. Very appreciative of where she is and, let's not deny it, easy on the eye too.
I think the winner will come from her half of the draw (Sharapova has taken the 1st set from Cibulkova 6-1), but I've got half an eye on Kvitova. Azarenka should be the favourite on ranking but I'm not quite convinced.

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
was really impressed with Lisicki, although she did have an unfortunate wobble serving for the match in the 2nd set.
If she ends up playing Sharapova (which is looking likely) she can't afford to have slips like that. Would love her to go all the way though. Been really impressed with her this tournament so far.

Re: Wimbledon Day 9
Well, well, well - Pironkova wins a 2nd set tie-breaker to take their match to a 3rd set. Good on her.
That may be a bad outcome for the Azarenka/Paszek match unless the weather and light holds for quite some time more this pm.
Sharapova wins 6-1, 6-1 in a devastating display under the roof - as the commentators say that helps her because her serve is very susceptible to windy conditions.
