Arsenal need to act fast and get in a bid for N'Zogbia now Villa have made a move, quality player and a bargain in todays market.

Will be gutted in Villa get N'Zogbia.

He was Moyes top target and every looked in place for a £9m move, except that we have no money and needed to sell to buy.

Think he was banking on selling Yobo and Yakubu to raise the funds for him, and now he will be gone before we have any money to buy.

Could be time for us to bite the bullet and sell one of the stars (except Baines) and use the money to bring in 2/3 players

I think he could be perfect on the left side of our attack as he is a very direct player which is what we need.

I think he would be better off going somewhere else. He'll just end up wasting a few years in his career at Arsenal. Everton would be a badman club for him or Spurs

Spurs would be the worst club for him to join, they are another team who always buy players and then ruin them, similar to Man City. I think he would be the perfect fit on the left for Arsenal, playing in the CL.

IMO N'Zogbia > Nani/Ashley Young

Nah Man, he would be good at Spuds, I can see him playing for them, there type of signing. No point in him going Arsenal, he doesnt suit the 4-3-3 and cant see Wenger changing, too stubborn

Well Arsenal have not even been linked with N'Zogbia, I'm just a big fan of his and hope we sign him. I think he would suit the 4-3-3 perfectly :S
Where can you see him playing for Spurs? I know he is much better than Gareth Bale but would they drop Bale for N'Zogbia?

Nah Bale wont get dropped, but he is injured a fair bit. + why go to Arsenil, there is no lure to a good Premier League/European League player, I mean yeah there is a small lure to join Arsenil but its mainly to unestablished French League and French players.
I mean Downing is going to Liverpool (bleeding liverpool, even with the likes of a donkey who should be working Blackpool beach, suarez, a fat ginger jock and a kid who may or may not pass the ball forward there still Poopie), if Arsenil were interested (as the word on street goes) then surley he would get his agent to find out if it true first, like Samir did with us (not his fault stubborn squirrel wont let him fulfill his disire to win trophies).

I don't think Arsenal were interested in Stewart Downing mate, a winger who is best at whipping crosses into the box. I don't think we need wide players getting crosses into the box, we don't have anybody to tuck them away. Can see why Loserpool want him to supply Randy Carroll

we don't have anybody to tuck them away. - Well Chamcack used to be a good header of the ball. Bendtner is tall and can head.
This is one thing ive said for years and feel Arsenil have never had in their game, crossing.
So, in training how prepare and train against crosses when your players cant put on in themselves? Set pieces too.

Chamakh can head but I would pefer N'Zogbia --- RVP ---- Gervinho so no place for him in the starting 11. Bendtner will be leaving this summer IMO.

Bendtner wont go anywhere, same with Denilson. Wenger is probably rejecting offers as we speak, being stubborn as he knows he will have to replace otherwise his squad will be thin. + with Cesc and Samir he cant afford to let anyone go untill whats happening with them is a defo.

IMO, im finally starting to have it with this whole bleeding Arsenil-Cesc-Barca love triangle.

"Cesc, if you want to go, say it and Flip off" - Nick Fury

"Wenger, stop being a Cat, get rid of the spanish diego, go spend some money are bring your fans what they deserve" - Nick Fury

Im now starting to look forward to the day he Flip off, getting soo bored of this. IMO its Arsenil and Wenger who are keeping this Poopie going, they could end it right now if they wanted but no, Flip NO!!!

Gervinho was inconsistent in a title winning team in France. I can't see how is going to be the next superstar.

Give it 6 months and he'll be behind Walcott in the pecking order again.

Lol you eat, sleep and eat Arsenal Nick it is all you talk about therefore I don't believe you could be bored of Arsenal and Cesc.

Afro - I thought Gervinho was suppost to have been one of the most consistent performers in the Lille team after moving from CF to RF? I think he is going to be a real quality signing.

Obraniak --- Gervinho --- Hazard

Lille started with that ^^^

And ended with:

Hazard ---- Sow ---- Gervinho

The bits I saw of him, he could blow hot and cold. He looked like an absolute superstar at times and then average at others. very similar to Walcott in that sense I think you are right that he was more consistent when they switched him to the right, but it was for half a season at most, so not really concrete evidence that he has got the inconsistency out of his game.

I think he is a good signing and I would like to have him at Everton, but I wouldn't pin my hopes on him being a superstar. He won't turn you into champions IMO

I think the key for Arsenal is hanging onto their best players and keeping RVP fit for the season. Gervinho is nice and N'Zogbia would be super, perhaps a new CB & DM too, Samba & ? but these are secondary to the above.

Keeping RVP fit is the key every summer, and it has never been achieved.

perhaps the key could be to stop pinning hopes on him staying fit and have an alternative plan?

Maybe this season it will be achieved Afro lol.

Nick, Verm is back in & Sczeszny is a year more experianced. We could do with a new CB but I would take RVP fit for a full season over a new CB anyday.

Szczesny has yet to prove himself in the Premier League, your defence still looks well short of the mark, you concede lots of stupid goals and can’t defend set plays. This isnt down to a CB or two being injured.

And if not this season or the next season, perhaps season after.

To be honest we did not concede that much last season though Nick. Will be tough to beat Man City next season but I think we have a shout, I'm very confident going into the new season. My predo is:
1st)Man City or Arsenal
2nd)Man City or Arsenal
3rd)Man Utd or Chelsea
4th)Man Utd or Chelsea
5th)Loserpool
6th)Spurs

My predo for next season is:
1) Chelsea
2) United or City (can't split them)
3) United or City
4) Liverpool
5) Arsenal
6) Tottenham
7) Sunderland
8) Everton
9) Fulham
10) Stoke

Arsenal conceded the highest proportion (53%) of the goals from set-piece situations this season in the Premier League. - now yes its just a proportion but it highlights your lack of ability to defend set plays.

So far in the close of season ARE favourites to win out title back.
Pretty much done our shopping which have improved the squad all round.

Chelsea have an aging squad in desperate need of an overhaul.
City, will be competition for everyone, more so us and chelsea.
Arsenal, based on so far should be fine, cesc and nas are still there with the addition of gerv.
Spurs, cant see them doing much, they will just do the usual imitation of a big club every so ofeten and just liner around the top 6 like a dirty fly.
Loserpool, hard to say. I think so far they have the potential to do well, but there players are overpirced Poopie bags, if they gel then they could do ok.

My Fantasy team is always the Durkastani All Stars, BOOM
Call it: Clube de Afromengo, FC Afro or..............the best one yet.................................Sporting Afro FC

Weaker due to Wengers stubborness Afro?
So far we have:
Verm back from injury
Ramsey back from injury with a pre season
Gervinho
Random youngster like Jenkinson that may or may not make much difference
And out:
Clichy

That looks stronger to me at the moment.

Its only a matter of time before Verm is injured again. Ramsey, ahhhhh im sure the big guns of the league, Man United and Chelsea are Poopie themselves.

Why? Why did you say to me £16m yesterday but when I offer you the fee you decline and make excuses, I'm sick and tired of this. You've done it with others, and because of that I can't buy anotherplayer today which I needed. At least with others they would tell me, it's a joke mate.

I am basing you being weaker on my expectation that Nasri and Fabregas will go

Verm - I'm still to be convinced that he a top class defender. Good goalscoring defender, but I wander whether that boosts his reputation.

Ramsey - I agree

gervinho - already discussed. Adds depth, but if you lose Nasri, Gervinho is not as good IMO

Clichy - yes, not brilliant, but I'm not sure Gibbs is significantly better.

Wenger needed to set his stall out and bring in early a new CB, another good striker to cover RVP and a ball winner. Had he done that early and made a statement, the situation with Nasri and Fabregas could have been looking different. As it is, I expect them both to go

Cisse was top scorer in France for a few seasons, why don't you buy him as well.

And Stephane Guivarch was brilliant in France too.
