thanks jb.
i think you mentioned before that the ospreys were looking at two kiwi forwards, one was capped the other wasn't (project player???) is it still in the pipeline?

Re: Ospreys not signing scarborough
who is the player leaving you mentioned?
it was rumoured on here a few months ago that a few youngsters where disgruntled and had asked to leave the region. the strongest rumour was mathew morgan wanting to leave to join the dragons. was there any truth in this?

Re: Ospreys not signing scarborough
What's the NWQ limit this year? I thought it was supposed to reduce each year from when the last agreement was signed?
I understand they have let a few go as in Nutbrown, Jerry Collins, etc but so far they have recruited a backrow and scrum half who are NWQ. They already have Walker and Bowe.
And to be honest even though Bearman and this new 10 they have signed are Welsh qualified they are really English and Australian.
So much for bringing through Welsh youngsters.

Re: Ospreys not signing scarborough
6 nwq plus 2 time serving players
ospreys have
bowe walker fotalui stowers as nwq
dirksen as time serving
well within the limits,
The scouring of the globe for welsh qualified boys make sense. ross jones is now a wales under 20 player and torrance was on the back up list.
The big question is who can bring back baby black centre rhys llewellyn back home to wales? that boy is class

Good to see you here JB
but
6 nwq plus 2 time serving players
serious
in Ireland it's 5+1, I though it was same with WRU, who was th coach that gave out because the regions had a limited number of NWQ players (think they were put out of H-cup by an English team) really is generous considering both Unions only have 4 teams.
What is Scotland and Italy's NS/IQ player limit?
