How Long do you see him carrying on for before he eventually retires? also who do you think will take over man utd when he goes?

Personally I think he would have gone last year had Utd not won anything but the fact all the challengers had spells where they fell apart and Utd ended up winning the league probably kept him interested.

As for taking over Utd, I doubt he has the £1b or so he would need but it would be madness for the owners (current or future) not to provide him with a desk, a comfy swivel chair and a spot on the board....

i disagree slightly i think once he leaves he should step away completely

I think the weight of public opinion will make sure that doesn't happen.
Unless he plans buying Aberdeen (which he probably can afford !) then I can't see him not being involved in Utd in some way

i agree but i dont think he should it would put too much pressure having him there for the man who takes over the reigns as manager

I think had he won the Champions League, he would have retired as he will have put away the demons of Rome 2009, and beaten Liverpool's league record, it would be the perfect point to retire on.

I think he is going to keep on trying to win the Champions League before he retires until he physically and mentally cannot continue.
