Foreigns offers?

Well Pull gave me the idea last week and I used it in one of my leagues in the past.

Basically, I think I will randomly draw four players to be subject of a foreign offer. I will decide the amount of the foreign offer. Then, you have to accept at least one of these offers. The idea of this is to try and give money a value again and to make it slightly more realistic.

i like this idea i have 30m yet can't buy anyone cos apparently it's worthless at the moment

Ah right, we had that sort of idea in DC's realistic league on 606 and that worked well so sounds good

Anyone catch the F1 today? Excellent race I thought as Vettel was pretty rubbish throughout the weekend.

Updated the League Table and the bloody internet froze so will do it again after work. May ditch the foreign offers as not many seem keen.

The idea is a good one bud. The problem we have is that virtually all rated players are gone now so there is little incentive to sell players for cash, even fringe players.

One option could be to limit squad sizes, forcing managers to sell or release a number of players, then have foreign offers where one must be accepted each time. Bit difficult to implement after we've got going perhaps but it is still early days.

can i suggest randomly choosing 3 players from each side place a price tag on them and the manager has to accept that and the player goes back into the foreign market and can't be re-bought unless been to another club?

Yeah to be fair, if we do do the foreign offers then other players whose offers have been accepted will be available too as replacement so that in a way counter-acts the 'there are no decent players available' argument.
