Ipod

i was wondering if somebody out there could help me i am having problems with my ipod, everytime i connect it to my pc, itunes freezes, my ipod works fine when not attached.

i have done alsorts but nothing seems to work

You may not want to go down this route but, connect your iPod to your computer. Go to My Computer, right click on your iPod and then click on format. (Ensure the quick format option is selected). All data will be wiped from the iPod but it iTunes should no longer freeze.

PC or Mac?

On the Mac it happens to me sometimes if I have the iPod locked. Double check that you've unlocked it.

back up your library onto a disc then reinstall itunes and reset your ipod

its ok, i have asked a very nerdy friend of mine to look at it for me, thank you for the advise, nice to know you can ask a question and people will try to help.
