Instead of going over the top with downing(who at best is worth 15/16 million).

Why not bid for Adam Johnson? Man city will take a profit on him,plus he would come for 1st team football. Plus nasri looks to be signing which pushes even further down the pecking order.

I really rate Adam Johnson, dont know why he isnt getting played much at Man City, I would prefer him to Downing - plus Johnson is still English!

Adma Johnson isn't as good as Downing, Downing's delivery is far superior, and if Henderson is worth £20m then Downing is easily worth that

IMO Johnson is much much better than Downing

Having seen them both alot more than most people, I assure you, while Johnson may look great with all his skill, he is not as accomplished as Downing, or as much of a team player

I'd prefer Johnson,more exciting and better all rounded plus of his age. Also sell on value.
