LIVERPOOL

………………………. REINA ……………………..
SRNA ..........ZAPATA ………GALLAS ... CAPDEVILLA
…………….. FELLAINI ….. GERRARD …………...
ISLA ………………..AGUERO …………….. MATA
……………………... TORRES ………………………

DOUCHEZ
CISSOKHO
PAYET
CABAYE
CISSE

CAPTAIN/PEN/FK/CORNER: GERRARD

DIRECT STYLE OF FOOTBALL, ATTACK DOWN THE WINGS OR THROUGH THE MIDDLE. PLAY WITH A LOT OF WIDTH. PLENTY OF MOVEMENT FROM THE FORWARD PLAYERS AND GERRARD WILL BE PLAYMAKER LOOKING TO SLIP THE OTHER ATTACKERS IN.

DEFENCE: WE HAVE EXCELLENT GOALKEEPER AND DEFENDERS WITH LOTS OF EXPERIENCE. CBS WILL STAY TIGHT TO ATTACKERS TRY TO ANTICIPATE PASSES AND INTERCEPT THEM. WE WILL PLAY A MEDIUM LINE. OUR CBS HAVE PACE, ZAPATA WILL MAN MARK THE MAIN FORWARD AND GALLAS WILL COVER WITH HIS PACE AND GOOD READING OF THE GAME. FULLBACKS WILL GET UP AND DOWN THE WIDE AREAS. PRIORITY FOR THEM IS TO DEFEND BUT THEY WILL SUPPORT THE ATTACKS PRODIVING WIDTH AND DELIVERING CROSSES.

MIDFIELD: IN THE CENTRAL AREA FELLAIN IS VERY SOLID. HE WILL BE A BALLWINNER FOR US AND CAN ALSO PLAY DECENT FOOTBALL. HE WILL SUPPORT THE ALREADY EXCELLENT DEFENCE AND SHOULD STOP US FROM CONCEDING. HE WILL TRACK THE RUNS OF THE OTHER TEAMS ATTACKING MIDFIELDERS. GERRARD WILL BE LOOKING TO USE HIS STAMINA TO GET UP AND DOWN THE PITCH BETWEEN THE 2 BOXES HELPING OUT WITH DEFENCE AND ATTACK. HE WILL USE HIS GREAT PASSING AN VISION TO START ATTACKS. HE WILL LOOK TO PICK OUT ATTACKERS OR GET IN A SHOT. GERRARD WILL MAKE LATE RUNS INTO THE BOX. AS SUNDERLAND HAVE NO REAL DM WE EXPECT TO WIN THE MIDFIELD BATTLE.

WIDE: ISLA WILL BE PLAYING ON THE RIGHT WITH A LOT OF ENERGY AND A GOOD DELIVERY HE WILL LOOK TO PICK THE BALL UP AND GET CROSSES IN FOR TORRES AND THE OTHER PLAYERS TO ATTACK. HOWEVER IS STRENGTH WILL BE PROTECTING SRNA AS ISLA CAN ALSO PLAY AS A FULLBACK. WE HOPE THIS TEAM OF ISLA AND SRNA WILL STOP SUNDERLAND HAVING ANY SUCCESS DOWN THE LEFT SIDE OF MIDFIELD.
MATA IS A VERY TALENTED PLAYER AND WILL LOOK TO LINK UP WITH THE OTHER ATTACKERS AS WELL AS GETTING THE BALL DOWN AND HAVING A GO AT FANNI. HE CAN SCORE GOALS AND HAS GREAT PASSING TO MAKE CHANCES FOR HIS TEAM.
BOTH WINGERS WILL PROVIDE PLENTY OF WIDTH AND STRETCH THE PLAY BUT WHEN OUR FULLBACK ATTACK THE WIDE PLAYERS CAN CUT IN PROVIDING EXTRA OPTIONS IN THE BOX. AT TIMES THEY WILL NEED TO GET BACK AND HELP OUT IN DEFENCE BY TRACKING OTHER TEAMS WINGERS.

AGUERO: PLAYING OFF TORRES WHERE THESE GUYS ARE BEST TOGETHER AND HAVE TELEPATHIC UNDERSTANDING. AGUERO SHOULD PLAY HIS NORMAL GAME THIS INVOLVES A LOT OF CREATIVITY, MOVEMENT, DRIBBLING, GOOD PASSING, TAKING ON SHOTS OR DRAWING OUT DEFENDERS AND PLAYING IN OTHER ATTACKERS. AGUERO WILL BE ON THE MOVE GETTING INTO SPACE SO WE CAN GET THE BALL INTO HIS FEET.

STRIKER: TORRES WILL BE BACK ON FORM WHEN AGUERO PLAYS OFF HIM. THE TWO WILL COMBINE AS THEY HAVE DONE SO WELL IN THE PAST. TORRES WILL MAKE GREAT RUNS AND LOOK TO GET INTO SPACE TO RECEIVE PASSES. HE WILL HAVE GOOD SERVICE FROM THE WIDTH PLAYERS AND IS GOOD AT HEADING. HE WILL ALSO USE HIS PACE AGAINST THE DEFENDERS.

SUBS
ON 45 CISSOKHO FOR CAPDEVILLA
FRESH LEGS DOWN THE LEFT. BOTH OF THE LB WILL PUT SO MUCH EFFORT INTO THEIR 45MINS THAT THEY WILL NEED THIS CHANGE
ON 75 CABAYE FOR TORRES
AGUERO GOES UPFRONT AND HIS SKILL AND CLOSE CONTROL IS A DIFFERENT CHALLENGE FOR THE DEFENDERS. GERRARD WILL SUPPORT HIM AND CABAYE WILL CM MOVING BALL AROUND
ON 80 PAYET FOR MATA
FRESH LEGS ON THE LEFT AGAIN LOOKING TO CAUSE PROBLEMS AND SCORE A LATE GOAL

BLACKBURN TACTICS WEEK 4 vs Fulham

GK ----------------------P.Robinson---------------------

CB -----------------F.Fazio-----H.Westermann--------
FB ---N.Onouha------------------------------D.Aogo---
WB -------------------------------------------------------
DM --------------------------------------------------------
CM ---------------M.Veloso-----C.Adam---------------
AM -------------------------Willian-----------------------
WG -D.Kuyt---------------------------------------E.Elia-
SS ---------------------------------------------------------
ST --------------------------A.Gyan----------------------

SUBS:
S.Mignolet, S.Corchia, J.Robinson, B.Zenden, D.Bilyaletdinov, S.Malbranque, C.Cole

INJURED WEEK 4: G.Gonul + S.Defour

Robinson
Be strong and confident at the back. A good defence starts with a good keeper at the back. Want him to communicate at all times with his defence. We look to play the ball short as much as possible.

Fazio + Westermann
DEFENDING: Westermann will look to man mark the striker out of the game as we expect them to play a lone striker. Fazio is very versatile and more than capable at CB. He is to be strong in the air and into tackles and will be covering the middle keeping an eye on any advancing CM.
ATTACKING: Both to push on for corners and free kicks into the box.

Onouha + Aogo
DEFENDING: Onouha will be the more defensive out of the 2 allowing Aogo to be able to push on down the flank more often. Both need to be on their toes and close down the wingers at every opportunity.
ATTACKING: Onouha is to sit back abit more. Aogo is to help out Elia down the left with Elia, like Kuyt, playing as an additional striker when necessary.

Veloso
DEFENDING: He will be playing the anchor roll today sitting deep, winning the ball in the middle. He has the passing ability to create plays but still could be vital today as he will be key in breaking down opposition attacks. When we have a corner, he will sit back at the half way line.
ATTACKING: N/A just spread the ball around

Willian + Adam
DEFENDING: We will look to use Adam in a box to box role. This way we have enough to cover at the back as well as getting forward.
ATTACKING: Both will be attacking today, more so Willian who will look to get in and around Gyan to help him out, almost as a SS today. Adam is playing box to box and will look to get in and around the area finding space to maybe unleash a shot or 2. Willian is at times to alternate moving out to the RW as well to allow Kuyt to move centrally as this will offer abit of variety in the opposition box.

Kuyt + Elia
DEFENDING: Will both track back and help out our fullbacks as they have the stamina to do it.
ATTACKING: Although Kuyt is a naturally striker, he has the ability to play out wide. He will look to get on the end of goal kicks and alternating between 1) getting into the box when Willian pulls out wide and 2) attacking the flank himself. The formation is a mix between 4-5-1 and 4-4-2 as when Willian moves wide Kuyt moves central. Elia is to mix it up today getting at the fullback whipping balls into the box looking for Gyan and Kuyt mainly but watch out on Willian and Adam advancing.

Gyan
DEFENDING: N/A
ATTACKING: Is to lead from the front on his own. Be big and strong and battle with the CB’s. When they have the ball close down the defence and put them under pressure. Needs to be in constant contact with the players behind.

SUBS/CHANGE IN TACTICS:
If winning at half time:
70’ S.Malbranque for A.Gyan – Kuyt ST, Malbranque RW and get him on the ball whenever to run rings around the opposition.
75’ Bilyaletdinov for Elia
82’ Corchia for Veloso – 5-4-1 with Corchia RB, Onouha CB

If drawing at half time:
60’ Willian to RW, Kuyt ST going 4-4-2
70’ S.Malbranque + D.Bilyaletdinov for Elia + Willian – Malbranque RW, Bilyaletdinov LW

If losing at half time:
45’ Go 4-4-2 Kuyt ST, Willian RW
70’ D.Bilyaletdinov + C.Cole + S.Malbranque for M.Veloso + D.Aogo + Willian - going 3-4-3 and very attacking

Week 1 Match 2 - Tottenham v Aston Villa Empty Re: Week 1 Match 2 - Tottenham v Aston Villa

Post by Gregers Thu 28 Jul 2011 - 17:04

We continue to improve and have trained hard this week for a Blackburn side which who will look to try and dominate our midfield. With this in mind and a returning Jack Rodwell we have slipped back to a far more comfortable 4-5-1.

----------------------------- Sergio Romero ----------------------------------
----Boyata ---------- Marchena ---------- Gamberini --------- Jansen----
----------------------Gago---------------Rodwell------------------------------
--------------------------------Kuzmanovic------------------------------------
--------Donovan (C)-------------------------------------------Jovetic---------
----------------------------------- Klose--------------------------------------

Subs:
Schwarzer
Montoya
Flanagan
Krygaikos
Ljajic
Bothroyd
Defoe

Yes thats right, Fulham are back to a more attacking 4-5-1 this week.

Specific Player Instructions:

GK: Romero - Our new keeper who has been bought in on loan with a lot to prove. He will look to feed the ball quickly to Donovan, Jovetic or Kuzmanovic from any corners he wins.

RB: Boyata - We'll be looking for Boyata to look for the simple balls to Kuzmanovic and Gago. He will support Donovan in attack up the right as Boyata has great stamina and will be more than able to keep up with the pace of the game.

LB: Jansen- Jansen will use his explosive pace to exploit the Blackburn right hand side. He will overlap Jovetic and whip in dangerous crosses for Kuzmanovic and Klose to get on the end of.

CB: Marchena - Marchena will look to bustle their centre forwards and will not get bossed around. He will tackle hard as always. He will look for the simple balls to Gamberini, Gago and Rodwell.

CB: Gamberini - Like his centre back partner he will look for the easy passes. He will also look to bustle to Blackburn striker.

DM: Gago - Gago will act as our bustling defensive midfielder. He will force mistakes from the Blackburn midfielders.

DM: Rodwell - Rodwell will act as cover when Jansen bombs forward, furthermore Rodwell will also play box to box so his shooting comes into effect.

CM: Kuzmanovic - Further forward this week so he can boss the game and play his Xavi-esque through balls for Klose and the wingers to run on to.

RW: Donovan (c) - Our captain. Early on he will use his natural pace to destroy the confidence of the Stoke left back before starting to cut inside and support the strikers. He showed last week that he relishes the opportunity to attack. He will use his promotion to captain to push his performance to the next level.

LW: Jovetic - A goal again last week continued to lift his confidence and he will continue his form into this week. We will look for Jovetic to terrorize their right sided players and use his explosive pace to get on the end of Kuzmanovic's and Klose's passes.

CF: Klose - Lone striker this week for Klose and so he has to act as the target man for Kuzmanovic to play off of. Donovan and Jovetic will look to link up off of Klose as much as possible.

Subs

Regardless of score at 70 minutes:

Defoe on for Jovetic
Montoya for Boyata
Bothroyd for Kuzmanovic

Finally, our set piece tactics:

Left Corner: Jansen
Right Corner: Donovan
Free Kicks: Donovan
Penalties: Klose

Week 1 Match 2 - Tottenham v Aston Villa Empty Re: Week 1 Match 2 - Tottenham v Aston Villa

Post by Afro Fri 5 Aug 2011 - 16:56

Sunderland (vs Bolton)

----------------Gordon
Fanni-----Godin---Cahill-----Taiwo
Turan----Fellaini---Parker----Menez
------------Forlan
-------------------Adebayor

Subs: Cudicini, Lugano, Aurier, Canales, Parolo, Koke, Riviere.

Injured: Welbeck, Bramble

Summary:
Attacking – Mix up the play, but particularly getting the ball to Menez to run at the full back. Try to stretch the defence and get crosses into the box.
Defending – Cut off the supply lines by taking Hamsik out of the game and roughing up the wingers.
Any Bolton player named that does not play, the Sunderland player will pick up the replacement

Gordon - will command the area, coming for crosses. He is in the best position to see what is ahead of him and will be alert to any balls played in behind the back four, acting as sweeper.

Fanni – Your first responsibility will be to pick up the left winger and stop him from playing. We expect this is to be Marin. At the world cup, he got bullied out of games and didn’t get selected again, so this is what we will try. Get physical with him early and let him know you are there. Stay tight and keep him facing away from goal and you will take away his effectiveness. Get forward in support of Turan when you can. We don’t expect Marin to be much support to the LB, so you may get opportunity to double up. When Taiwo is forward, stay back.

Taiwo – Your first responsibility will be to pick up the right winger and stop him from playing. We are expecting this to be Jeffren, who is inexperienced at this level, and similar to Marin, is small and can be knocked off the ball. Get close to him and don’t let him turn, get in his face and he should fall out of the game. Try and get forward in support of Menez. We don’t expect Jeffren (if playing) to track back much, so you will get plenty of chances to double up on the RB. When Fanni is forward, stay back

Godin – If Di Natale is playing , you will pick him up, using your quick thinking and pace to mark him out of the game. Otherwise, you will play as the spare man. You reading of the game will allow you to pick up any through balls or loose balls and get them away from danger.

Cahill – If Carroll is playing, you will pick him up, otherwise you will play as a spare man. (if neither Di Natale or Carroll are playing, then you will pick up the main striker and Godin will pick up any second striker). Keep tight to Carroll and don’t give him room to jump. Take away his aerial threat and you take him out of the game.

Fellaini – you role today is to pick up Hamsik, one of the few players with dafter hair than you. Use your physical presence to get in his face and don’t give him space to play. At defensive set-pieces, pick up the largest player. At attacking set-pieces try to get onto Milito, who is not the tallest CB in the world. When you get the ball, look to feed Turan, Menez and Forlan.

Parker – You have two important roles today. Firstly, you will get about the pitch and attempt to stop the supply line forward, particularly to Hamsik. Secondly, you will cover the full backs defensively, allowing our wingers to be more offensive. When you get the ball

Turan – We are expecting you to be up against Enrique today. He has decent pace and is a calm customer, so you will need to use your tricks today. He is very left footed however, so you should look to turn him inside and get onto you stronger left foot. Get back and support your full back defensively, but Parker is also going to be covering allowing you a bit more attacking freedom. When we are not in possession, pressurise the opposition and don’t give them time on the ball.

Menez– your role is important today. We are expecting the Bolton RB to be Corluka, who seriously lacks pace. We also expect limited support from his winger, so get on the ball and using your electric pace, run at him and scare him to death. If you can get the better of him early, the CB will be forced to come across and cover, creating space in the middle. When we are not in possession, pressurise the opposition and don’t give them time on the ball.

Forlan – you have a free attacking role today. Get on the ball and look to feed the other forward players. You have reign to drop deep, or to get into the box. Do whatever you feel is going to cause the mosr damage. Defensively, put pressure on the defenders and don’t give them time on the ball

Adebayor – We are expecting a new CB partnership today of Milito and Bougherra. Bougherra has limited experience at this kind of level, whilst Milito does not have much game time under his belt, and will be rusty. Put yourself about and stretch the defenders, don’t give them a minutes rest. Forlan will look to put you through, whilst try and get on the end of crosses from Menez and Turan. Try and get up against Milito.

Subs:
If losing/drawing on 70 minutes,

Parker off, Riviere on
Forlan off, Canales on

------------Fellaini
Turan-----Canales----Menez
------Riviere---Adebayor
Two youngsters, Riviere with pace to burn and run at the tiring defence, Canales to provide the bag of tricks.

If winning on 75 minutes
Forlan off, Koke on

-----Parker---Fellaini---Koke
Turan------------------------Menez
-------------Adebayor

3 solid midfielders protecting the back four, Turan and Menez tracking back and supporting the FBs defensively. FBs to stay back

Captain: Parker
Vice captain: Gordon
Free kicks/Corners: Forlan / Turan
Penalties: Forlan

Bolton Tactics

Starting XI

-----------------Given
Corluka---Milito---Boughy---Enrique
-----------Plasil----vanBommel
Holtby--------Hamsik--------DiNatale
----------------Carroll
Subs
Jussi
Salgado
Izaguirre
Marin
Jeffren
Sturridge
Davies

Set Pieces
Free Kicks: Di Natale
Corners: Hamsik
Penalties: Di Natale

Tactics

Centre Backs
when high balls are played towards Ade, Boughy will directly mark him as he has the height to compete in the air with him, whilst milito will stand back and look to pick up any stray balls, if the ball is played on the deck, Milito will go for the ball whilst Boughy will work with van Bommel in picking up Forlan

Enrique
Whilst Turan is a tricky customer, Enrique is a good defender and calm under pressure, the best option here is to just force him out wide and look to block any crosses the player makes, with him just keeping his eyes on the ball if Turan tries to use any trickery, if Turan does try to cut inside, then Guide him towards the two protectors who will take over from there. As Di Natale will be playing fairly narrowly, there is space for Enrique to overlap and put crosses in for the Ponytail

Corluka
Whilst Menez does have pace, it is nothing out of the ordinary and Corlukas job will be to remain calm and keep him out wide, as we fell crossing isnt his strongest point, if he does try to cut inside we will guide him towards the DM's. Corluka will play a fully defensive job today, staying back at all times (apart from set pieces)

Van Bommel
His job is to stick to Forlan like plaque does to teeth, he will look to keep close to forlan for the whole game and keep him on his toes all game

Plasil
We dont expect too many runs from the defensive two of villa so Plasil will look to occupy the space between Forlan and the midfield and be the link between defence and attack, he should not be afraid to run with the ball into space if there is some in front of him. Defensively, he will drift about the place looking to help out the back 4 if they need it

Hamsik
He will look occupy the space between our midfield and Carroll, not afraid to drift wide if he needs to find space, he shouldnt be afraid to test the keeper from 25 yards as we feel the keeper is shaky and will look to shoot as often as we can, when long balls are played to carroll, hamsik should be busting a lung to run ahead of Carroll and pick up the flick ons and shouldnt be afraid to run at goal. Defensively, we arent expecting any runs from villas 2 dm's but hamsik will be charged with tracking the player should they make a run.

Di Natale
while Di Natale is shown as a Left Winger, he will start further infield, just off Carroll and drift out wide as we feel one of his strongest characteristics is pulling defenders across with him, creating some space for others to exploit. when he has the ball and he is out wide, he will be looking to cut inside onto his stronger right boot and not be afraid to use your pace to take on the opposition centre backs or even shoot from outside the box if you have to.

Holtby
With above average pace and very good trickery, we have put holtby in this game to specifically target Taiwo, we feel he is the weakest part of their defence and will focus a fair proportion of our attacks down the right, you will stick to the byline and look to put crosses in all day long, if Taiwo does get close to you, then dont be afraid to draw out the foul as he will be looking to assert himself on you.

Carroll
Carroll will play the traditional Target man role today, comfortable with the ball either to his head or foot, when his back is to the goal we will be looking for that variety of passes to try and effectively hold the ball up and keep it away from the CB's, and when he is in the box, he will look to pair up to the far post, and look for the ball to be floated in so he can use his height advantage to win the majority of crosses.

Subs
If Winning
60 Mins - Bradley for Plasil - Fresh legs and a more defensive player
75 mins - Izaguirre for Di Natale- Fresh legs and a player who sit just in front of Enrique
Sturridge for Carroll - more pace and will switch to a counter attacking style of football

If Losing
70 Mins - Marin, Sturridge and Davies for Plasil, Holtby and Di NAtale - change to a 4-3-3 with ball longs balls played up to the front 3

Spurs vs Blackburn

--------------------------------Stekelenburg-------------------------------

------------------Rolando-------Mertesacker---------Dawson--------------

van der Wiel---------------------Cambiasso------------------------Coentrão

----------------------------------Sandro-----------------------------------

------------------Götze--------------------------van der Vaart------------

-----------------------------------Benzema

Subs: Ochoa, Walker, Shawcross, Martínez, Barnetta, Wijnaldum, Gilardinho

Captain: Mertesacker, lead by example

General: Up against bottom of the table Fulham. I want goals today so let get attacking them and get them on the back foot from the first whistle.

Stekelenburg: Command the area, communicate with defence at all times. Keep punching to a minimal, catch as much as you can within reason/if possible. He has immense shot stopping abilities.

Defence: Communication is key, talk and help each other out. You all have different attributes which will complement each other. Rolando and Dawson will go forward for attacking corners one attacking front post, other centre and alternating each time.

Mertesacker - Man mark the target man, not too tight but don’t let him play off your shoulder, stay goal side of him at all times. Challenge for all headers and get the tackles in, not too rough as we want to avoid cards. With the ball send it to the flanks. Talk to Rolando and Dawson, make sure when you push up they come too and keep their line, this is important for the offside trap.

Rolando - Keep an eye on the winger. If he gets past our wingback be there to cover. If our wingback is out of position be there to step in, block crosses, push out wide, hold them off, this is important as we don’t want them beating you and leaving Merts wide vulnerable. Attacking send the ball to the flanks or to Modric. Mertesacker will give guidence on our defensive line, when to push up, drop off etc.

Dawson - Keep an eye on the winger. If he gets past our wingback be there to cover. If our wingback is out of position be there to step in, block crosses, push out wide, hold them off, this is important as we don’t want them beating you and leaving Merts wide vulnerable. Attacking send the ball to the flanks or to Modric. Mertesacker will give guidence on our defensive line, when to push up, drop off etc.

van der Wiel - Defending want you to keep an eye on the winger, which has been Elia in the last two matches, keep him wide, dont let him cut in and just genreally stop him supporting the striker. Get up the flanks, attack whoever the fullback is, D.Aogo (last two matches) or new recruit Cissokho. If Cissokho is playing its his first match so really go for him, look to get at him quick and give him a torrid time in his first match. If Aogo is playing be a bit more conserved but still attack him. If Götze drifts into the channel then feel free to come inside. Dont want you heading all the way to the touchline as I want you to be able to get back into position. If Coentrão is forward do not push forward. Get crosses in high or low for Benzema, get them in low for Götze.

Coentrão - Like you to keep an eye on the opposition winger. When around him mark him but otherwise focus on attacking. Attacking I want you to link up with VDV. He will drift out to allow you room inside to burst forward and get into dangerous positions. Supply Götze to his feet. Supply Benzema to his feet and head, use your judgement. Feel free to get in the box and shoot.

Cambiasso - Midfield general. Want you to get all over the pitch. If there is a AM then keep an eye on him, mark when he gets into an advance position, any other time get across the pitch. Protect the back four. Go for headers, get tackles in, own the pitch, make it yours! Attacking wise I want you to distribute the ball, the wide men will keep the width so be the middle man in switching from flank to flank, keep the ball moving at all times. If you see a gap send Benzema though.

Sandro - Help Cambiasso with defensive duties. Play as a box to box midfielder. Get the ball forward as much as possible, supply Götze, VDV and Kenzema through balls.

van der Vaart -Drift out to the left flank, create from there. Link up with Coentrão and try get him through on goal. Play Benzema in on goal over the top. Crosses high for Benzema and low for Götze.

Götze - free role. Dribble at player as you ahve great ability in that department. work off Benzema, support him as much as possible. If on goal go for it.

Benzema – Out and out striker today. Play off the shoulder. Make forward runs and look for through balls.

FULHAM TACTICS VS TOTTENHAM

----------------------------- Sergio Romero ----------------------------------
----Debuchy---------- Marchena ---------- Gamberini --------- Jansen----
----------------------Gago---------------Flamini------------------------------
--------Donovan (C)-------------------------------------------Jovetic---------
--------------------------------Klose---Defoe-----------------------------

Subs:
Montoya
Flanagan
Bocanegra
Sessegnon
Pjanic
Reyes
Defoe

Specific Player Instructions:

GK: Romero - Once again Romero will be looking to release our wingers as well as getting the ball moving from the back as quickly as possible. He will look to throw rather than kick as much as possible as this is his strong point.

RB: Debuchy - He will use his explosive pace to overwhelm the Tottenham left hand side, where they have tended to play very attacking players. He will look to overlap Donovan as well as drifting forward in general.

LB: Jansen- Jansen will also use his explosive pace but will use it to exploit the Tottenham right hand side. He will overlap Jovetic and whip in dangerous crosses for Klose and Defoe to get on the end of.

CB: Marchena - As always Marchena will look to bustle their centre forwards and will not get bossed around. He will tackle hard as always. He will look for the simple balls to Gamberini, Gago and Flamini.

CB: Gamberini - Like his centre back partner he will look for the easy passes. He will also look to bustle to Tottenham strikers.

DM: Gago - Gago will act as our bustling defensive midfielder. Since joining us Gago has consistently been the heart of our midfield. He will force errors from the Tottenham midfielders

DM: Flamini - Like Gago Flamini will force mistakes from the Tottenham midfielders. Both Flamini and Gago will make sure that Tottenham do not settle and therefore will allow us to play our attacking football.

RW: Donovan (c) - Our captain. Early on he will use his natural pace to destroy the confidence of the Tottenham left back before starting to cut inside and support Klose and Defoe.

LW: Jovetic - Jovetic has plenty to prove this week with two players fighting for his position, he will use his pace to terrorize the Tottenham right back.

CF: Klose – In an attempt to surprise Tottenham this week, Klose will have a partner in a typical little and large partnership. Klose will get onto the long balls forward and crosses into the area. He will look to get headers in on goal and also knock downs to Defoe.

CF: Defoe – Defoe will have two tasks today. When the ball is wide on being played long into the box, he will get around Klose, looking for any knockdowns and loose balls, using his ability as a poacher. When the ball is further forward he will look to either stretch the Tottenham defence, which is not the most mobile, or get in behind and have one on ones.

Subs

Sub regardless of score at 70 minutes:

Bocanegra for Jansen – Fresh legs to get up and down the flank.

Subs if losing/drawing at 75 minutes:

Pjanic for Jovetic - Pjanic will drift inside allowing Bocanegra to attack more. He gives us another attacking option and has shown his flair in front of goal.

Subs if winning at 75 minutes:

Pjanic for Defoe – Pjanic dropping back into the AM role. Pjanic will look to demoralize the Tottenham midfielders and defenders. The Bosnian Messi!

Reyes for Jovetic - Reyes will freshen up the left hand side. He will also use his pace to attack the already tiring Tottenham right back.

Formation if winning at 75 minutes:

----------------------------- Sergio Romero ----------------------------------
----Debuchy---------- Marchena ---------- Gamberini ------ Bocanegra----
----------------------Gago---------------Flamini------------------------------
--------------------------------Pjanic------------------------------------------
--------Donovan (C)-------------------------------------------Reyes---------
----------------------------------- Klose--------------------------------------

Finally, our set piece tactics:

Left Corner: Jansen (Reyes when Jansen goes off)
Right Corner: Donovan
Free Kicks: Donovan/Debuchy
Penalties: Klose

Bolton Tactics

Starting XI

-----------------Given
Corluka---Escude---Naldo---Riise
-------Van Bommel----Adam
Kuyt-----------Hamsik----------Benayoun
----------------Carroll
Subs
Salgado
Milito
Bradley
Jeffren
Sturridge
Di Natale
Davies

Set Pieces
Free Kicks: Adam
Corners: Adam
Penalties: Kuyt

Tactics

Centre Backs
Naldo will pick up Amauri and keep close to him, with Escude playing slight off Naldo to either help with Amauri or to pick up the AM

Riise
Defensively his job will be to keep tabs on the winger, and try to keep him on his weaker foot and not to put in any rash tackles, if the player does try to put a cross in, the aim will be to just try and block the cross. Offensively, he will look to stay out wide and provide the overlap for Benny/Kuyt and put crosses in for the big man.

Corluka
Corluka has a purely defensive job today, his job will be to keep an eye on the winger, and look to keep him as wide as he can and try to prevent him cutting inside or forcing him to try a cross from out wide.

Van Bommel
Van Bommels primary mission today is to stop the AM from linking up with the striker, by keeping close to the AM and not giving him space to breathe, he will also look to assist the full backs if they look like they are struggling with the wingers.

Adam
His role today is to play as the deep lying playmaker, he will look to get on the ball and spray balls to the people infront of him, in particular, he will target Kuyt, who has an aerial advantage against both full backs. If there is space infront of him, he is given liecence to run with the ball, and even shoot if he is in range. Defensively he will assist van Bommel in tracking the AM, or any runs from the defensive pair.

Hamsik
He will look occupy the space between our midfield and Carroll, not afraid to drift wide if he needs to try and shake off any markers or even pull them out of position to allow others space, when he has the ball, he has licence to shoot from range, When our wingers are in a position to cross, Hamsik will try and find space around the edge of the box to provide the cut back option. Defensively he is a high energy player, so should either of the Villa DM's decide to go forward Hamsik will be told to track them.

Kuyt
Kuyt will be a key player for us today, a player with everlasting stamina, he will be tasked to track the full back when defending, as well as put pressure on the back 4 if they take their time on the ball, offensively, he and Benny are adept on playing either wing, so will switch fairly frequently, when we are attacking, a fair few balls from the creative players will be in the air towards him, as we feel he is strong in the air and should beat either full back more often than not, so in the air he will be looking to head to either Hamsik or Carroll, when he has the ball on the ground, he should be looking to cross whichever side he is on, but also when he is on the left, he shouldnt be afraid to cut inside and shoot. Wehn Benny has the ball and crosses in, he will look to drift into the box and move to the far post as a second option should Carroll miss the ball.

Benayoun
He isnt going to do either full back for pace, so will be looking to use his close control to outsmart the full backs to find space to either put crosses in, play the cut back or even shoot. When on the right he should primarily look to cross the ball into the box, and when on the left, he has the choice of either crossing or even shooting.

Carroll
Carroll is the lone striker so he will be expected to hold the ball up at points, when he has the ball outside the box, he will look to pass to one of the 3 players around him and move further forward into the box, if he is outside the box and the defenders are giving him space, then he shouldnt be afraid to shoot from far out, when crosses are coming in, he will look to move to the middle of the box and look to use his strength to win the headers.

Subs
If Winning
75 mins - Bradley for Hamsik - he will move alongside van bommel with adam playing just infront of them
Sturridge and Jeffren for Carroll and Benny - more pace and will switch to a counter attacking style of football

If Losing
70 Mins - Di Natale For Hamsik, move to a 4-4-2 with Di Natale playing alongside Carroll

TACTICS
We will try to match Bolton in the centre, they will play their usual 4-5-1 and we will also play with the same formation, cancelling them out. If they try to surprise us and play 4-4-2, then we will use our extra man in midfield to win that battle. Throughout the game, we should take care to keep possession.

DEFENSE
Srna and Capdevilla should both get forward, making the most of the space left behind from the wingers not tracking back. They should use their pace to match the wingers and force them out wide. Benayoun in particular lacks pace to get back and forward. Marquez is the experience at the back, he will be our leader, while Bonnucci deals with the striker (presumably Carroll) we will play with a highish line because we have confidence that we can catch their forwards offside.

MIDFIELD
Carrick should sit deep, this allows Cleverley and Vidal to drive forward. Carrick should keep Hamsik out of the game by occupying that space in front of the back four. Because Carrick is deep, this gives Vidal and Cleverley the space to get forward and have a good go. Van Bommel lacks pace and Lucho isn't the quickest. We will use our younger, fresher legs. Hazard and Ben Arfa should both get back and help defensively. But in the most part, they should be having a go at the full backs. Corluka in particular is slow so we should try to break past him.

ATTACK
Amauri has a height advantage over Escude so should constantly get in front of him to beat him aerially, go for knockdowns as there could be three/four midfielders driving forward. Amauri is a good finisher and should be the real poacher in front of goal.

SET PIECES
Left Corner - Vidal
Right Corner - Vidal
Free Kicks - Hazard
Penalties - Amauri

SUBSTITUTIONS
If winning then bring on Miguel and Antonini for Srna and Ben Arfa. This will improve us defensively on both wings. Antonini provides more defensive support and Miguel is better defensively than Srna.

If drawing then bring on Macheda and Cahill for Amauri and Cleverley. Move to a 4-4-1-1. Macheda is an excellent super-sub and provides pace to run at a tiring defense.

If losing then bring on Cahill, Macheda for Hazard and Ben Arfa. The full backs should bombard forward while we play with a 4-4-2 diamond.

Going to post here because not sure where else to post.

-------------------van der Vaart--------------Coentrão---------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------Zárate----------Gilardinho-------------Benzema--------

Subs: Ochoa, Walker, Coates, Martínez, Modric, Wijnaldum, Liam Boyce

Captain: Mertesacker

General: Go all out for goals. Defence will play offside trap. Mid will float around and supply front line. Front line go stir crazy and bang em in!!

Defence: Play a high line, all stay gopalside, do not attack, just hold your shape and get tackles, blocks etc in. Send the ball to VDV or Coentrão.

Sandro: Protect the back line. tackle and intercept as much as possible. Distribute the ball at a fast pace. stay sitting infront on the CB's central, that way you are always on for a pass.

van der Vaart & Coentrão: Help tackle and intercept the ball. Float around midfield interchanging. Supply the ball to the front line, throughballs to Zárate & Benzema, with balls in the air to Gilardinho. If shot is on BANG it!!

Zárate & Benzema: Track down opposition back line players when in possesion in order to force mistakes. Drift around, support Gilardinho and play off him. Feel free to switch position with each other throughout the match. Make forward runs, go on dribbles, if in the box pull the trigger and test the keeper, shoot on sight. Play quick intragate passes with each other and Gilardinho, this will slice through the Everton defence.

Gilardinho: Play off the last shoulder. Get flick-on's to Zárate or Benzema, the will be playing off you so every so often drop deep, drag CB with you and op[en a gap for them to attack. Shoot on sight in the box. Dive and win a penalty if its a draw in the 60th min.

Subs, If winning:
Boyce on for Gilardinho
Coates on for Rolando
Martínez on for Sandro

Week 1 Match 2 - Tottenham v Aston Villa Empty Re: Week 1 Match 2 - Tottenham v Aston Villa

Post by nadeem2099 Thu 8 Sep 2011 - 10:49

We are playing against Stoke, who will be tired from their cup exertions 3 days ago. Last game of season so play for pride and finish the season on a high is the message to my players.

Formation - 4-4-2

-------------------------akinfeev-------------------
Srna(C)-------bruno alves------marquez------capdevilla
---------------------------------------------------------------
Tosic-------cleverley---------vidal--------ben arfa
----------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------defoe---------bellamy-------------------

Subs - Parish, Cuellar, Josue, Antonini, Granero, Tim Cahill, Amauri

CORNER KICKS - BEN ARFA
FREEKICKS - BEN ARFA
PENALTIES - DEFOE
CAPTAIN - SRNA
VICE CAPTAIN - AKINFEEV

GK AKINFEEV - command your box. If opposition shoot from outside box punch the ball away to safety. Whenever you have the ball keep it simple and pass to the defenders.

RB SRNA - main job is to defend. Attack whenever you feel that we need more width to our play. When capdevilla is attacking you will stay back and defend. Keep the opposition winger on a tight leash. Don't let him run at you and close him down as fast as you can. Will look to play the offside trap whenever possible.

CB'S - BRUNO ALVES + MARQUEZ - these 2 players will look to stay deep and defend. Close the opposition striker(s) down and use your height to your advantage by winning the aerial battles. Keep the defensive line in check and step up to play the offside trap whenever possible.

LB CAPDEVILLA - same job as Srna but you have the option to shoot from long range if you see an opportunity as you are deadly accurate shooting wise.

WINGERS - TOSIC + BEN ARFA - will look to cause the opposition full backs problems with their pace, trickery and direct style of play. Change sides if you are not getting any luck and dont be afraid of using your weaker foot as it causes the element of surprise. You both will also have to track back and help your teammates Srna and Capdevilla when defending.

CENTER MIDS - CLEVERLEY + VIDAL - Both have a great amount of stamina and can last the full 90mins. They will look to be my box to box mids and help attack and defend. If one attacks than the other stays back to defend and vice versa. They are both good passers of the ball and have an impeccable dribbling ability. Make late surging runs into the opposition penalty area to get a goal but do not forget your defensive duties.

STRIKERS - DEFOE + BELLAMY - there 2 are speed freaks and their main attribute is their ability to time their attacking runs to perfection. They are not the tallest of strikers but they make up that with their good finishing in front of goal. Try and use your pace and trouble the opposition.

IF I AM LOSING BY 60MINS - i will change the formation into a 3-4-3 and go on the attack to try and get a goal back. I will take of Marquez and Vidal and put on Granero and Tim Cahill.

-------------------------akinfeev-------------------
Srna----------------bruno alves-------------capdevilla
---------------------------------------------------------------
Tosic----------------cleverley---------------ben arfa
-------------------------Granero-------------------------
-----------defoe------------------------bellamy-------------
--------------------------Cahill-----------------------------------

IF I AM WINNING BY 60MINS - i will change the formation into a 5-4-1 and go on the defensive and soak up the pressure and hit the opposition on the counter attack. I will take of bellamy, defoe and tosic and replace them with josue, cuellar and amauri.

-------------------------akinfeev-------------------
Srna----alves---cuellar----marquez----capdevilla
-----------josue-----cleverley-----vidal-----------
----------------------------ben arfa-------------------------
-------------------------Amauri-----------------------

IF I AM DRAWING BY 60MINS - i will stay with the same formation but i will do some subs to freshen my team up. I will take off ben arfa and bellamy for granero and tim cahill.

-------------------------akinfeev-------------------
Srna(C)-------bruno alves------marquez------capdevilla
---------------------------------------------------------------
Granero-------cleverley---------vidal----------tosic
----------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------defoe---------cahill------------

Week 1 Match 2 - Tottenham v Aston Villa Empty Re: Week 1 Match 2 - Tottenham v Aston Villa

STOKE TEAM VS ASTON VILLA

--------------------Kameni

Di Silvestri-----Dawson-----Kjaer-----Tremoulinas

-------------Palombo--------Montolivo

Farfan--------------Valbuena--------------Young

---------------------Cardozo

Formation: 4-2-3-1
Injured players: Gotze and Kane

Subs
Smithies
Kaboul
Neville
Guardado
Hernanes
Hargreaves
Negredo

Freekick 26 yards or more: Montolivo
Freekick 25 yards or less: Young/Valbuena
Corner right: Montolivo
Corner left: Young
Penalty: Young

Genreal: Last game of the season, Cardozo last game for us go out on a buzz. I want my team to feel relaxed and finish the season with a win. We play a passing game but also use long balls if we can't get passed them. Use the width aswell as the centre when attacking, use th trickery and pace of my wingers when counter attacking.

Kameni if you can claim for the ball shout nice and early let your defenders know that you can get it. If we can start a counter throw the ball quickly to our wingers, normal goalkicks hit it long to Cardozo who will flick it on for wingers or Valbuena. Stand up big and strong for as long as you can, make the goals small and close the angle be brave.

Di Silvestri will try to jockey thier winger away from danger, using positional skill to move him away or pn to his weaker foot, only dive in if it's the last option. When getting forward make runs over the winger creating space and cross the ball in early when you get it.

Dawson will pick up thier main striker, closing the gap and giving him little room to manoevere bully him but don't foul. Use your strength against him. Do't play with the ball get rid of it or pass it staright away. You will be the typical tough defender.

Kjaer will pick up thier other striker or attacker, be aware of the players around you use your speed and positional play. Try to snuff the attackers by positioning yourself so he has to move away from goal only put tackles in when you have to. Kjaer will also use his ball skills to start moves from deep for us if Montolivo is being pressured too much by thier midfield.

Both defenders go up for corners and I don't want them to leave too much of a gap between each other, if that does happen Palombo will fill in thier. Keep a decent line not too high and not too deep.

Tremoulinas will try to jockey thier winger away from danger, using positional skill to move him away or pn to his weaker foot, only dive in if it's the last option. When getting forward make runs over the winger creating space and cross the ball in early when you get it.

Palombo is our aggresive DM, the one who will put the pressure on opposition hurry them up in thier passing or making them go backwards. Fiill in for any defenders out of position. Try not to give fouls away near our box. Keep it simple when get the ball play it to team mates near you don't do what you can't.

Montolivo is our a creator, the one who will dictate our tempo quicken it or slowing it depending on the situaation. Look to make passes past my wingers so the can run on to it and look for passes to the feet of Valbuena. Keep the ball moving, play the pass and move game. Help Palombo in defending duties, hold your line and force the players to pass backwards by standing in the way and closing off room.

Valbuena is our attacking player, he will make runs off Cardozo and get into the box to pull the trigger, he also has the ability to run at players making them commit and open up thier defensive line. Cardozo will be looking to flick the ball on so be aware of that and Montolivo will be passing to your feet. At times swap with Young or Farfan going wide and they go centre this may give us more space.

Farfan will be more of a traditional winger, using the width hugging it and putting crosses in for Cardozo or any other player that runs into the box. Run at thier defender and put deleiverys in that is your main job. Montolivo will look to make passes behind thier fullback and try to beat him for pace.

Young will cut in more and look to shoot or run inside creating space and looking for our attacking players. He will also put crosses in as we know he is very good with that but he has more of a license to come inside and link up with Valbuena.

Both my wingers will be watching Villa fullback s when defending, if they push up you follow them, don't waste your energy going up and down when thier defenders don't as we have Palombo and Montolivo back.

Cardozo will play as the target man, looking to flick the ball on, he will also look to turn if thier is space behind him and hit the ball with his left foot just hit it. Valbuena will make runs behind thier centre backs to open them up and create room for Cardozo to run into. Cardozo has to be aware of early crosses from my fullbacks so make that 1 yard run before them to get infront.

65 MINS
Farfan off Guardado on (Fresh legs same formation)

75 MINS IF LOSING
Valbuena off Negredo on (We go 4-4-2)

75 MINS IF WINNING
Valbuena off Hargreaves on (4-5-1 without the ball and 4-3-3 with it more energy and defesive)

85 MINS IF LOSING
Montolivo off Hernanes of (More attacking options going forward)

85 MINS IF WINNING
Tremoulinas off Kaboul on more defensive at the back
