Not an insult just stating facts. The truth hurts doesn't it?

England struggle to put India away, when India are 1 bowler short. Just wait until Sehwag returns and destroys England village green bowling attack.

If you're the no.1 side in the world you shouildn't have to rely on one bowler. When England bowled out SL in 20 odd overs they were a bowler short, Jimmy Anderson, the spearhead of the attack.

I wonder what happened to Nige ... he vanished from 606 well before the end and I've not seen him on any other site I frequent. Also hope he is ok , though I'm not sure he was in Oslo.

Jimmy A - Bowling Average 31.04
Zaheer K - Bowling Average 31.94
It's close but Jimmy is better. A bit like England being better than India.

200 for KP
If i am right and he gets 222 no, his average will again rise above 50.

and KP gets to 200.
that must hurt.
i think we should have posted 500 myself.
India will be confident of 600.. and then a draw.

India World ranking: Number 1
India ICC World Cup Champions.
Zaheer plays on flatter pitches in India, Anderson is cannon fodder on Asian pitches.

"25 balls for that fourth 50 in the 200, after the first 50 had taken 134..."
he played himself in. well done KP!

Great attacking play by England trying to advance the game against some woeful time wasting by slow over rates by injia.
Starting to get used to this new attacking Strauss who wants to make things happen by being positive. Whether this works is another matter

Agreed. Looks like Strauss is looking to get at India from the off.
Suppose we should count ourselves lucky there are only 1 or 2 dimwits on here. The old 606 used to get flooded with 'em!

Re: England vs India 1st test debate
Even if it doesn't get a wicket tonight , the Strauss declaration shows England's intent ... no sitting back and waiting , move the game forward.
The right way to approach the series , I believe. And the best chance of winning it.
