I would say Priors had a better year than Dhoni and Kemar Roach hasn't been getting full game time for the West Indies.

Are you at the wind up with this team?

Junaid Siddique batting at three despite not playing a Test match in the past 12 months, same with Shakib Al-Hasan at five. No Trott, despite 1200+ runs at 71. What about Tendulkar averaging in the mid 60s for his 996 runs!

Your bowling attack is also bizarre, too bizarre to not be a wind up. No place for James Anderson 61 wickets @ 21 against some good batting sides, yet Southee 10 wickets @46 and Roach 15 wickets at 30 get in ahead of him. What about Dale Steyn.

Wicket keeper is a bit more debatable, but the stats lie heavily with Prior. Prior (61) has had a good last 12 monts with the golves and averages 35 more with the bat that Dohni (26).

CF puts in players he likes rather than players who have actually done well.

I would have picked Anderson instead of Morkel but I think a tall hit the deck bowler like Morkel would complement the other two nicely IMO.Dhoni is in bcoz he has performed better than any other captain IMO.And you do need a captain dont you?Apart from that the rest of my pretty much picks itself.

Liam

I disagree. He just wants to annoy us.If he wants to pick his personal favourites then he should name his team as "My Favourite Test XI' rather than the "Best Test XI".

I get the picture about CF! Realtively new to the board, but it does not take long to spot potential attention seekers.

I will go with the same side as Liam. I understand there is no Captain there, but I will have Dhoni as XII man which means he will be on the field most of the day anyway.....

Apologies for inferring you were an attention seeker.

Is there any chance of answering the question I have asked you? I am interested to know your thinking behind picking your team, that's all.
