Silly Season (or truth and reconciliation)
Simple. There's a lot of rubbish been posted on otherwise perfectly decent threads on here over the past few days. The Mods are working full time to cool it down on the individual threads and have even put up a "Behaviour expected of gentlemen" type thread up. However it is my view that unless the lance is boiled, threads will continue to see disruption. Therefore consider this a "truth and reconciliation" thread. Say what you want the Mods wont mind. Slag each other off to your heart's content, just get it out and get it out here and not out there...

Fine then Glas a du. You Welsh are just a bunch of...........jolly nice chaps ( and chappess) who can be a bit excitable about the odd game of rugby.
On and i hope that The Black Prince in Llantrisant is still standing....many a bad memeory from there

Llantrisant isn't as bad as many places within a 15 minute drive.

Re: Silly Season (or truth and reconciliation)
Great idea. I was considering something very similar myself yesterday. It just gets tiresome when thread after thread descends into pointless tedious childish bickering and name calling, before migrating onto borderline racism, on to then overt racism, then more name calling and then people pinging things off to moderators, getting offended and upset and hurt and generally spamming the board with the kind of anxious reactionary nationalistic and egotistical nonsense that ensues inevitably from semi-anonymous forums just such as this.
I for one will be greatly relieved if this idea works, all that nonsense dries up and my inciteful and objective points are given more space to be appreciated and considered by my rational fellow posters, whose opinions I value so highly.

It'll never work unless Truth and Reconciliation is made sticky.
