Looks like you'll be putting up with him for next season- http://hoganstand.com/Cork/ArticleForm.aspx?ID=152827
I don't think CC is a particularly bad manager. He was criticised for not changing tactics when it was clearly needed but to be fair he has lead the team to an all-ireland and done quite well at the county. He deserves to stay until next year at least, if the Cork fans get more of the same then there will probably be more of a reason to consider the managerial position then.

Gaelic,we stumbled to an All-Ireland last year. Dublin imploded before us and we beat an average Down team. This Cork team are capable of winning a few All-Irelands we won't with CC. The guy has never had tactics and has held onto Canty for too long.

Sure they came through the qualifiers and Kerry still have the sign over them in the provincial sfc, but that Dublin v cork game was fantastic. The Dubs were excellent and cork stayed strong to come back in the second half, mind you Canty was absent for the second 35. I don't think CC is an excellent manager, he has his flaws which I'd probably be moaning about if I was a Cork man, but I wouldn't say he is as bad as you've said either.

Dublin imploded against us. They gave away silly frees and with the free takers we have we were going to put them away,we played poor against them. Cork have played one good match in two years besides that we have played in patches. This was the weakest AI defence for some time.

I completely disagree with Mickey Harte's stance on RTE. I agree that the John Murray show made a grave error, but RTE came out immediately and apologised.........if he wants to hold a grudge let him hold a grudge with the John Murray show, what has that got to do with RTE Sport??.............why is he depriving those in his own county and others the chance of listening to him and his team??

CC had a 2 year appointment. Not sure if the selectors were on the same type of thing but they could be freshened up. we have to know now that a 15 man game isn't going to cut it any more.
the only thing more repetitive than me moaning about referees is patrick moaning about rte......next on the list is the Tyrone minors. Do it at u-21 first....

Aye to be fair, Harte's grudge is with RTE isn't it? So it's just them he's avoiding. I wonder if he pays his licence...

just count the number of times you hear what sound like"cool" (goal) or "cooleen"( little goal/point) and you'll be grand......unless you have mistakenly tuned into the RNaG fashion show

Lost the stream during the Clare match. Have got it back for this one (barely!) but I don't think it's going to last.

Great game so far. I feared that it could get one sided but Waterford are putting up a fight, so fair do's to them.

And with the Dubs in with a chance of getting to the fitba final I don't think I could go all the Poopie with the Dubs potentially at both deciders. No upset, up Tipp!

John! You cannot be a Limerick man. I have been living in Limerick for the past 15 years and I would'nt find one person in the whole county who would agree with your opinion. Limerick hurling folk hate Tipp and the football brigade always back Kerry against Dublin.

I dislike the cats (and Cody) more than Tipp(that's just personal opinion!!)............as for Kerry, with respect, if Kerry didn't win another match until 2020, i wouldn't mind !!
Are we bitter in Limerick.......you bet we are!!

Ok John, I understand your point about Cody. He is a hard person not to hate. (maybe Rebel should add him to his punch list) But why be bitter with your closest neighbours. North Kerry and West Limerick people are very similar. Limerick, a traditional hurling county are trying out the big ball for a change and coming up against the most successful county almost every year. It is tough. But they have to just learn from it and take advantage of playing against two strong counties like Kerry and Cork every year. Don't get mad! Get even!

And some west limerick people have officially "defected"..........rumour has it they even attempt to speak with Kerry accents and have stopped using the phrase "ya know like" and use "yerra shure" instead!!.......
Personally, im always a fan of the underdog and if Mayo or the Dubs finally got their hands on Sam, id love it!!

Dubs underdogs? I would doubt it. They have invested hundreds of thousands into this team with the training and backroom staff. There are no underdogs in the last four. Four traditional football counties are meeting and the best county will win.
And on West Limerick people defecting hopefully they drop that horrible term "thanks a million" when using the Kerry accent.

I don't really believe that underdog rubbish, imo it's created by the media, Mayo and Donegal will be delighted that everyone is writing them off, obviously most people will predict a Dublin v Kerry final but I can't see the Dublin players and management underestimating the Ulster champion's and I can't see Kerry taking Mayo for granted after they destroyed Cork. If we do reach the final I would actually rather play Kerry because it would be a lot sweeter to win it by beating Kerry and Tyrone on the way.

Re: Live scores- 6-7/8/11 real people, real sport
Kerry will beat Mayo well. They have shooters in the midfield and half backs and have a good enough coaching staff to figure out how to disamantle the Mayo swarm defence. I think Dublin would have difficulty with the Kerry forwards as I think there defence has some question marks. If Donegal cut out supply to Alan then it could be a good game.

Re: Live scores- 6-7/8/11 real people, real sport
I have got every single prediction wrong for the last three weekends. Continuing on that vein it has to be Donegal and Kerry for me. Thats on the basis that Donegal have the legs and the stomach to puke the Dubs and Mayo will not meet an over confident Kerry and the element of surprise has gone.
Last I saw Donegal were 8-1 for the AI, not to shabby in a four horse race.
