Potential Q&A with Antonio Tarver
As the title says, we need some questions for a potential Q&A with Antonio Tarver.
He is an exceptionally knowledgeable boxer, and a great analyst of the sport, so try and think up some interesting ones.
Cheers

Re: Potential Q&A with Antonio Tarver
Suppose an obvious one to ask is for his thoughts on the proliferation of belts around the sport at this point in time, and whether he only sees this problem escalating, or whether he thinks there will come a point when the networks stand up and say 'enough'.
Re: Potential Q&A with Antonio Tarver
Having worked on the super six, how does he feel it has gone and how does he see the final panning out?

Re: Potential Q&A with Antonio Tarver
Who do you feel has been your biggest career rival? Jones? Harding? Johnson? Or someone else completely?
Being an Olympic medalist yourself, what do you make of the possibility of professional boxers being allowed to compete at the Games from 2016 onwards? A good idea, or one that simply makes it even harder for aspiring young amateurs?
Your commentary and analyst work has been very well received. With that in mind, what could be done to make boxing appealing to a wider audience again? Do you think that we see too little of the sport on television, particularly on terrestrial / broadcast tv?

Great stuff, Fists. Good work, mate.
I'd ask Tarver against which fighter in history he would have liked to have tested his mettle, and why.

Did you ever not consider taking the role of Mason Dixon in Rocky Balbao due to the fact the character was seen as a poor champion?
Did you spar with Sly at all?
Which is your favorite Rocky film?

Any regrets from your boxing career?

If you could fight one fighter in the history of the sport, who would it be.
Why is it that some boxers do not make good trainers, and vice versa?

Which of the champions at cruiserweight with the four major belts (WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF) would you like to fight the most?
or
Would you please beat up Marco Huck because he's a limited slugger hiding behind a dubious promoter?

What are you most proud of in your career?
You have never been knocked out or stopped in your career, but you have taken solid punches, who do you feel hits the hardest out of the guys you have faced?
Being 42 years of age now do you feel its more difficult to get yourself geared up for a training camp?
If you had turned professional earlier in your career do you feel that you would have had an even better career?
Quality guy to get Fists, well done!

How would you like to be remembered?
Was there a genuine hatred between you and RJJ, because at the time it seemed very much like you two hated each other with the press conferences?
If there was one thing you could change in your career what would it be?

Being older now do you feel your abilities are beginning to become slightly limited or do you feel as though you can still do the same things you could when you were younger? (Perhaps could be put across in a slightly softer way)

Re: Potential Q&A with Antonio Tarver
With hindsight, would you have accepted to role of Mason Dixon in Rocky VI with regards to putting on extra bulk and entering camp heavy prior to the Hopkins fight? Do you feel that had an adverse effect on your performance and something you'd wish to correct if he gets past Dawson?

What do you see as your greatest achievement in boxing?
What inspired you to get into boxing at a late age?
Floyd or Manny? Why?
Any up and coming ventures on the silver screen?

Oh well, I'll just mock him for probably being bald and question the validity of his marriage to Denise Tarver.

Re: Potential Q&A with Antonio Tarver
I would be interested to hear his take on the heavyweight division at the moment and if he feels he could be a contender there.
With cruiserweight being one of the more modern weights if the option to compete in that class was not there would he have moved to heavyweight or remained at light heavyweight?

Do you find people ask you too many questions regarding Rocky VI when you've had a long and varied career in the real ring?
What would you have been in life if not a boxer, and what are your plans for after you've retired?

Re: Potential Q&A with Antonio Tarver
Other than the one you work for, which broadcasting company presents boxing the best?
Why don't you wear a hat for chrissakes?
If we at 606V2 could grant you the gift of hair, but it could only be ginger (and you can't die it), would you take it?
If you bread with Robin Williams, how hairy would the kids be? Would they take one hair gene completely, or would it provide a healthy mix and a child of average hairiness?
What was the first boxing match you ever saw?
