That's a shame. It's about time a good cricket game came out, unless there are any that I'm missing?
Re: EA Sports Cricket 2011
The game doesn't exist on a official level, the last EA published game as far as Cricket goes was 2007. What does exist is mods for that release that provides a 2011 update, think there might even be a World Cup version as far as a mod goes.
Not a big cricket fan so never really checked that deeply but knowing the wide spread moding community available it wouldn't surprise me if there's a unofficial release for every year since 2007.
As to where you'll get it and the safest place to download such a thing, well most games have dedicated fan sites that provide such mods plus countless other info including forums. If you're unaware of any for this particular game you have two options either do some Google searches or start on the official/unofficial forums (If they still exist) going forwards from there.

There's really only two currently on the market Fists, the first would be International Cricket Captain 2011 and Cricket Coach 2011.
The only other one that I can think of thats still being updated is Cricket revolution which is a online game released in 2009, which has a sequel in development at this point. Though exactly when that game will be released is another story but hey at least there initial game must have been part way successful to consider it.

I play cricket captain, was thinking more of a game where you are actually doing the bowling/batting yourself, though.

i actually have the game its actually quite good but when you get use to timing the ball its easy to score runs, the graphics arent great but cricket games never seem to be. bowling is good fun if you put on difficult cos if you dont bowl well your get spanked round the park

Yep Ashes Cricket 2009 is the only one of that type that I can think of as well. The studio behind the game might have been been your best bet for any future such games on the Wii (they also released a Brian Lara game) if it wasn't for them going bust the same year. There was a sequel released called International Cricket 2010, not sure if it plays the same as Ashes Cricket though.
Other than that your stuck with heavy stats based games like Cricket Coach or Cricket Revolution.

Nando beat me to it it seems, there is no PC release as of yet due to poor sales of Ashes Cricket the previous year and some technical issues that would have cost to release cross platform. If you can bank on Codemasters being anything its tight fisted gits when it comes to additional costs, money grubbing [insert swear word] in recent times.
