Arsenal V Udinese
Massive game for the Gunners tonight but I still fancy them to win by at least two goals.
What are your thoughts/predictions guys?
Cheers.

should be entertaining game but with nasri + rvp banned it could be very difficult as udinese are a good side

Udinese have lost good players and so have Arsenal.
So being a Spurs fan, I hope Di Natale single handily beats them

I thought it was a good game, Arsenal started well and then Udinese came more into it. I thought on the balance of play Udinese looked the more skillful and dangerous team, their in close passing was very good. Should be an interesting return leg, far from over.

I didn't watch the game but had Sky Sports News on all night to keep up with my betting positions but listening to Paul 'Mr Negative on all things Arsenal' Merson it sounded like Udinese were worth at least a draw.
I have to admit I expected The Gunners to walk this tie but it's well in the balance now. Two consecutive clean sheets is a major plus though for Arsenal.

It was never an easy tie for Arsenal, Udinese are a good side. I did think Arsenal would win, but the fact they struggled to close out should be a concern for the away leg.
If Udinese had kept hold of Sanchez, chances are he would have caused even more problems for the defence, and he would have kept a cool head in front of goal to punish them.
Another early goal is the order of the day for Arsenal, it would settle the tie and take it away from Udinese. RVP should return to do the business!

Re: Arsenal V Udinese
Freek - the clean sheet gained last night was more by luck than judgement.
Chesney made a few good saves, they hit the bar, but the worry is how exposed we look at the back, one-on-ones with last ditch tackles were the norm, it really wasn't good.
If we play like that against a strong prem lge side we will get anhialated and by that I mean we could easily concede 6 or 7.
