nah RTD is a key player in my squad, if I lose a real quality player I need some real quality in exchange, not looking to just grab a couple of good players in exchange. For RTD I'd want Broad or Johnson, and I'd be ready to throw someone else in too...

You would get someone to replace RTD and get a another decent overseas with it.

oh come on! Perera to replace RTD? I've got a couple of players who are decent enough all-rounders already (Azhar Mahmood, Colly, even Dwayne Smith) and IMO Perera isn't any better than those guys. While I agree that it's a good deal for me, it doesn't suit for reasons explained.

On the new deal, it's the same problem: you're offering me two good players + one really good player for two really good players. On paper that's fine, but for me quality is the watchword right now. Oh and I really can't afford to lose Zaheer, don't have enough quality Indians as it is...

Who would you want for Zaheer + RTD, Broad + ?

Is this the Thisara Perera we saw in England earlier this summer? If so, can't play the short ball (in fact doesn't look like he wants to try to play the short ball) so won't score runs against any half-decent bowlers. Bowling was OK, but nothing special. Don't rate him high enough to make him a key member of the side the way RTD is. All about opinions I guess...

Get back to you on your second offer, but it would have to be one of your better Indians...

Think about that CF. Briggs is a decent bowler, but not proven at a good level. Riaz is a quality death bowler and Pattinson is a good young talent. If you want a spinner you could get a better one thank Briggs with that offer.

I wouldn't of accepted anyway I would need to have a spinner for him. CF if you offer a spinner we could have a deal.
