Pr4wn,

At the start of the month I posted a message on here about an off-site blog I had started.

You took it down and told me via PM that it breached your forum rules. Fair enough, but i can't reply to you as i've not got enough posts to PM (odd rule, guess it stops spammers tho).

I was wondering why this is when if you, or another admin, had looked at the link i put up you'd see it's clearly not spam but just an honest guy trying to expand his readership.

I found the original 606 a valuable source of readers and several members were very complimentary of my work. Starting a new topic on here and simply copying & pasting my work while not being able to link my blog or other sites i write for is not exactly useful to me.

I was wondering if it would be at all possible to get a clarification on this matter and even an allowance for me to put a link in my posts that directs your users to my work on Formula 1, Tennis, NFL and MLB to name a few.

My writing is by no means "competition" to what you guys provide here, but is merely my thoughts and insights into sport.

Anyway, get back to me.

Cheers.

Hi Toby,

Cannot speak on why Pr4wn took down your link but please drop it in your reply and I'll take a look.
Whilst we don't allow signatures at the end of posts etc if your blog is suitable we can add it up as a link on the portal and you could repost some of your articles here with a link over to the original. Hope that helps!

Cheers

Hi mate,

this is the blog in question: www.pullinglinemen.blogspot.com

It's solely an NFL one set up by me and 2 former team mates of mine. I also write a general sports one and contribute to a UK - based, american sports site.

It would be great if places like this could get behind up and coming writers who, for the moment anyway, are writing for the love of it.

All seems fine and in order there so I can't see any issues with addig you up as a link on the portal, a mutual one would be nice Wink
See you have a twitter page too so I'll see if our AF account can give you a shout out on that too.

I've re-tweeted some articles and given a shout-out.

Apologies for the confusion. Wasn't aware of the no-reply rule!
