Aberdeen manager Craig Brown is considering adding to his squad despite the closure of the transfer window.

Brown is especially keen to add to his options in midfield.

"We're still trying to get better resources," he said. "We're looking at the list of available players. We've got our eye on one or two guys."

Brown already added to his midfield before the closure of the window at the end of January, signing 24-year-old former Fulham player Rob Milsom.

Striker Nick Blackman arrived on loan from Blackburn Rovers, while Myles Anderson was signed after leaving Leyton Orient and fellow defender Steven Smith was taken on loan from Norwich City.

Now Brown is looking to possible free agents who are available before the next window opens and allows him to sign players from other clubs.

Aberdeen have been rejuvenated since Brown was installed as boss - winning seven and losing four of 12 games in all competitions - and now sit 12 points above bottom club Hamilton Accies in the Scottish Premier League.
