Belgian GP: Results
Despite getting jumped at the start by a flying Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel overcame initial tyre problems and pulled off some fine overtakes, including his team mate, Alonso and Button to storm to another win. So much for the myth the boy can't race.
For Webber, it was another case of what could have been. A shocking start put him well down the field, but again he showed his refusal to quit, fighting back through the pack, passing Alonso twice in the process, to eventually claim 2nd place. You have to wonder if Horner would have invoked team orders again, had the race lasted a few more laps.
A similar story for Jenson Button after a disappointing qualifying. Starting 13th, he was caught in the chaos at the start, suffering front and rear wing damage, narrowly avoiding being concussed by bits of flying bodywork (which instead took off his right wing mirror). Totally busting the myth he can only race in the wet, he proceeded to work his way towards the front, taking advantage of starting on the harder tyres, so he could switch to the softs during his stops. Pulled off some very gutsy and forceful overtakes on Sutil, Rosberg, Schumacher, Massa, Alonso and others, (including a double-overtake on a Sauber and a Renault) to finish a very creditable 3rd. Second best drive of the day IMO. I think Hamilton's aggression is rubbing off on him a bit!
Drive of the day has to be Michael Schumacher. Started last after going out in the first round of qualifying, but worked his way up to 5th, finally getting past Rosberg in the last laps of the race. A classic Schumacher drive - seems he's got his mojo back and still has enough about him to get arguably the 4th best car on the grid into the top 6. Great drive from his team mate too. A blistering start that caught everyone, including Vettel, by surprise, he defended valiantly before finally having to concede, as the Mercedes just doesn't seem to have the long-term race pace of the front-runners. Great drive nonetheless to finish 6th.
Fairly typical race for Ferrari. Alonso and Massa swapping their qualifying positions. Again Felipe looked to have pace and showed some aggression early on but faded as the race went on, while Alonso always looked dangerous, but in the end had to concede that his car just isn't quite on a par with the Red Bulls and McLarens. Massa had a disappointing race but could have finished higher had he not got a puncture right after a scheduled stop, forcing him to pit again 2 laps later.
Lewis Hamilton was desperately unlucky, taken out by Kobayashi while looking good for at least a points finish. Not quite sure why he didn't turn in earlier and hung wide as long as he did, but then Kobayashi has a duty to avoid the car in front of him and could definitely see where Hamilton was, whereas its quite possible Hamilton couldn't or didn't see Kobayashi. Its not like Kamui had a chance to pass Lewis at that point anyway.
Disappointing race for Senna after a great qualifying performance. Outbraked himself at the start and was largely responsible for the chaos at followed. Still, its his first race for Renault and he's still getting used to race conditions again. Decent drive from Sutil to finish 7th and Petrov got Renault into the points again, in 9th place, while Senna eventually finished 13th. If he can avoid hitting other people I'm sure he can improve on that.

Re: Belgian GP: Results
After seeing the replays, move of the day has to be Webber's overtake of Alonso in the middle of Eau Rouge. Like Coulthard, I actually flinched when I saw it.

Re: Belgian GP: Results
I thought Rosberg was going to have another podium finish today, sadly his pace dropped off completely.
