Dan Ward-Smith retires

A real shame. He has been plagued by injuries and was known to have been seriously considered by MJ at one point. A beast of a man and not one that many liked to face. Never got the cap he deserved.

Poor guy. Really did have some talent, hasn't really had the coverage it deserves. In the independent it was just tagged onto another article.

A real shame for him, if only he hadnt had the injury in 2007 he would have played for England for certain.
He was a really good athelete though, so maybe a role as strength and conditioning coach would be right up his street. Good luck to him.
