OMG moments!
Hey ppl, how are we. I was watching that new dvd 50 greatest OMG moments, it was actually a good watch, took me back down memory lane. The number 1 moment was obvious I think, but I wont say for those who want to watch it.
My question is, growing up or anytime you were watching wrestling, any brand what moment sticks in your mind that shocked you?
Mine personally was during the attitude era when during a casket match between the Rock and the Undertaker, HHH interfered and when Rocky was in the casket, just went crazy with a sledgehammer? I can remember being truly shocked, probably because i was only 10, but it has always stuck in my mind.
over to you guys

Re: OMG moments!
I'm going to guess the No. 1 spot was Mankind off the top of the cell through the announce table...
I would say one of the OMG moments I remember was Jake's snake munching on Macho Man.

Re: OMG moments!
I think for me most of the OMG moments came in the 90's. The whole NWO/Austin 3:16 was big and for me The Undertaker's debut at Survivor Series 1990 was just aur-inspiring.
More recently I would have to say Brock Lesnar and Big Show superplex. That was just mad. Even the F5 he done on him at Survivor Series 2002 was brilliant.
HHH turning on HBK on Raw 2002 was a bit OMG because the whole angle and timing and body language was awesome. Even though I had a sneaky suspicion it was going to happen, it was a shock none the less because of how it was carried out. The whole 'LLLLLLLLLLLLLets get ready to suck ittttttttttt....Bosh Pedigree.

The last time I marked out (and I hadnt for a good 5 years prior to it) was the Miz Cashing in and winning the title.
Re: OMG moments!
Did they have Shane Mcmahon kicking Kane in the fire in the top 50 ?

Re: OMG moments!
Generally I think that people mark out more when they are younger. Maybe we used to buy into it more, or didn't see things coming as much. The internet has certainly removed some of the element of surprise from things.
Shane jumping off things always gave great moments and when I was first watching the sight of Mick Foley being backdropped through the HIAC and through the ring really got me (thought it was all real innit) as well as TLC I from Summerslam 2000.

Re: OMG moments!
Mainly any OMG moments I have now tend to be from Wrestlers taking bad bumps onto their heads, I've thought Chris Daniels killed himself on a few occassions

Re: OMG moments!
However bad the overall story line was, my favourite OMG moment in wrestling will always be the Raw before the WCW/ECW Invasion PPV.
It had the WCW/ECW guys beating the hell outta of the WWF guys whilst every so often switching to Austin in a bar. The pure adrenaline rush I get (still) when Austin stands up, grabs a pool cue and heads for the arena. JR was tremendous in the moment too. Absolutely quality!

Re: OMG moments!
Most of Shane O'Mac's moments were epic. The one's that got me were when Shane O'Mac was chased up the titantron by Steve Blackman, and then Blackman hit him with a kendo stick causing Shane to fall off the titantron. Also when Shane jumped off the titantron onto the Big Show. How he never killed himself I'll never know! Another one, is Jeff Hardy's Swanton off the titantron.
The one that got me the most though, was when Jeff Hardy jumped off the ladder at Wrestlemania (23?), onto Edge causing the ladder to snap and putting himself and Edge out the Money of the Bank.

Re: OMG moments!
When ECW joined the WCW invasion. Tommy Dreamer and a couple other ECW guys raided the ring and started to beat down on the WWF guys, I believe. All the ex ECW guys come out to help the WWF guys from getting beat down. I believe it was the Dudleys, Raven, Tazz etc. Then just turned round and laid into the WWF guys, with JR going apeshit.
Paul Heymen climbs in the ring and declared "This invasion, just got taken to the EXTREME"

Re: OMG moments!
Either the Rock being flattened in the back of an ambulance by Hogan in a truck or Austin tipping HHH in a car off the top a teleporter.
Not that there was much wrestling involved in the two! But they were OMG worthy..

I'm guessing you were dropped on your head as a child.
Hogan hasn't saved TNA. Perhaps he will, but by all accounts they are being run into the ground and they are not looking after their talent.
Re: OMG moments!
It was the fact that you were dropped on your head that has left you in your wheelchair isn't it...not the mass amounts of vodka you claim.
Now it all makes sense.

Forget it. I wouldn't be able to explain it all in the 1 sentence structure that you require.
Let's jsut say you are special and leave it at that, shall we?

Re: OMG moments!
talking of referee injuries, remember everytime earl hebner got knocked down he'd hold his leg? even if he was hit in the face or simply pushed over, he'd always go for his leg.
even weirder considering he has a prosthetic leg

Maybe he was holding it so it didn't fall off when he fell.

Just remembered the time Samoa Joe Muscle Bustered Pope through a pig.
That wasn't so much OMG exciting as OMG that's hilariously ridiculous.
