Re: Sky Channel Numbers
It's wikipedia, but here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_channels_on_Sky
So S4C is 134, BBC Alba is 168, BBC 1 Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland are 971/972/973 and BBC 2 Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland are 990/991/992. BBC (101) will have the Six Nations, ITV (103) the World Cup, Sky Sports (401-404) the Heineken Cup and I believe some Premiership and Championship, and ESPN (417) has some Premiership Rugby too.

Re: Sky Channel Numbers
ESPN also shows some French Rugby and has far better AP coverage than Sky.

You'll also enjoy in depth pre-match analysis as well as extensive post match coverage including discussion with the winning coach the Jen. Some very interesting stuff on ESPN last year including Cockerill talking through defensive mistakes vs Exeter at Welford Rd with Ben Kay, Austin insulting the entire Shed at Glaws and being roundly booed and Ben Kay showing how Sarries were legally disupting rucks against LI.
