BBC Sport website -> beneath contempt
As at 1925 BST tonight, latest cricket news:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/default.stm
and, here's the link to the Surrey-Sussex scorecard - click on 'match scorecard':
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/counties/surrey/default.stm
But at least we know 'Tom Maynard blasts in 33 balls as Surrey hammer Sussex to reach the CB40 final' W-h-a-t?!?
Path. Etic. I want my licence fee back

LondonTiger,
I think you've missed the point here. My 'rant' was a tongue in cheek effort aimed principally at the many regular Surrey posters here. There has been a number of occasions this year when the BBC website has been some way behind the times, eg when our collapse in the CC game against Kent remained the BBC Surrey page headline even after we had won two further 40 over games. There's a (conspiracy) theory that this is to balance the often overoptimistic outpourings of the official Surrey website.
But it has to be said that the BBC boys are very fond of putting Suppiah's face on their cricket page. And they did put up the full details of the Somerset-Durham game a lot quicker than any news of the Surrey-Sussex semi. But there I go again...
