Q&A With DJ Spoony

606v2 is extremely happy to bring you another exclusive Q&A, this time with DJ Spoony!
DJ Spoony's career started on London Underground (a leading pirate radio station in the mid-nineties). He then joined Kiss 100, where he became a member of the Dreem Teem with Mikee B and Timmi Magic. The Dreem Team then via a groundbreaking show on Galaxy brought UK garage to Radio 1 in January 2000 where he worked for 6 years.
He also took UK Garage to venues in the UK audience and further afield. He was resident DJ at the UK's top Garage and R'n'B nightclub 'Twice as Nice' for 7 years, mixing and compiling 3 gold selling compilation albums for the brand. He has had residencies in Ibiza and Ayai Napa for over 10 years as well as annual visits to many other Mediterranean islands.
As well as radio work, DJ Spoony has also been on several TV shows, Strictly Come Dancing, The Weakest Link and A Question of Sport to name but a few.

Which clubs did you work at in Ibiza, and which did you find to be a) the best venue and b) the best atmosphere?

Whats the story behind your cutlery based DJ Name? Did you consider other options, ie DJ Ladle, DJ ButterKnife?
