superochog each player has their traits etc and some are more damaging to them than others. I mean looking at Rafa with his bottle arrangements and picking at his shorts but Andy's are more damaging. Like I have said before he not only faces a battle with his opponents he also battles with his mind for long spells and it doesn't help his cause.

Murray is a decent bride's maid. He lacks the x factor that players like Nadal, Djokovic and peak Federer have/had.

No doubting Andy has the talent it is the mental side of his game that lets him down. His slam record proves he has the talent with all these slam semis and finals but mentally he lets himself down. That is his achilles heel - no doubt.

Murray breaks and that was a great point.

I have been away from 4/2 Djoko 3rd set and am now back at 2 sets to love Nadal.

Looks like everything went wrong while I was away. Well done to Djoko but producing genius tennis for 3 sets in this era is a tall order.

Nada ldoesn't stand a chance versus Djoko. 3 sets one way traffic.

Nadal's defense was absolutely ridiculous in that long rally.

I used that to describe Fed's performance vs Tsonga but @ least Fed was capable of taking that to 5 sets, Murray can't even take this to 4. I thought hard court was his supposed favourite surface? He did better on grass.

I'm still hoping Murray can provide some sort of challenge and he is 30 - 15 on Nadal's serve so he's got a chance....

I hope Murray can take this break point, he won't get many more opportunities to get them!

Murray's forehand is a liability and Rafa is simply do good from the back of the court.

This match doesn't compare in anyway with the previous match, so below par in comparison. Just like @ the Wimbledon semis this year.

My prediction is still on so long as Murray wins no more games. I'd say the odds are reasonable.

Oh Andy.... I had a feeling where this was going when he starting complaining and being all negative at 2-2 in the first set!!

You could argue that unforced errors or him not executing on break points has cost him, but i think he's talked himself out of this.

I'm hoping he can take this set for entertainments sake, and for his own belief... But come back from 2-0 against Nadal when he's being so negative? I'm his biggest fan but i'm not going to delude myself that it might happen.

No Danny not when he isn't mentally tuned in. Been better in this set mind but I have felt he has been in far better form going into his previous slam semis. I mean here he had shaky showings against Haase and patchy against Isner and workmanlike and no more against Devarman and Young that is why I wasn't so hopeful for this one.

I think Andy needs a military style regime for about 6 months. No mommy, no gf, far away somewhere training with pros, work on his nerves and discipline. I think his game is much better and varied than Djokos or Nadals, but for crying out loud control the emotins. I really want him to win a few GS but the way he behaves looks like he's in tennis just for the money and not for the game.

I wasn't able to watch any of the Wimbledon semi between Murray & Nadal but judging by this, how did Murray even win a set off Nadal? Nadal is all over Murray, this third set is bit better but the first two have been naff.

First serve hasn't been great, mentally he hasn't been great and hasn't played his crucial break points too good. I don't want to take anything away from Rafa as he has been superb though.

There seems to be this misconception that Djokovic can beat Nadal on this form. All I can say is good bloody luck, because given the way he has played through the tournament, he has more chance than I do crapping in the queens handbag!

Finally, Murray does something decent! He wins the break!

Murray breaks to go 5-3 up. Is their hope yet? Simply must hold here.

Murray still in this; if he can get this set it will get very interesting. He looks the fitter player out there.

Not sure how Murray's gotten a break. Nadal is playing. . er, non-human tennis. He looks like he could play a game of tennis and football simultaneously and win both.

Rafa has been immense. Improved match-by-match in this tournament and his big challenge against Djokovic will be mentally trying to forget his previous most recent encounters with Novak.

That was some return from Nadal. Why doesn't he just F**k off!

LK, should Nadal reach the final, I think it won't be a str8 forward win for Djokovic but I still think he will win but in 5 tough sets.

That win over Fed for Djokovic is a big, big booster, Fed played very well and still lost (whatever the reasons are) and Djokovic's win is even more impressive because he was 2 sets down, a position worse than last year. If Djokovic can salvage a win in that situation it will only fuel his self belief further and that helps in those big moments against the big top players.
