Time for Matthew Morgan?
Surely Matthew Morgan has to be given some game time soon. Every time he played last season the Ospreys looked a hell of a lot more threatening.

He only played in the LV cup - where the Ospreys had a much better squad - he hasnt even played in the ML yet.
I thought Biggar was good last week, and he wasnt bad today tbh.

I'm not saying Biggar was poor but Morgan offers something different. I know he only played LV last year but did some things in those games that not many 10's can do. He's not perfect by any means but the 2 home games against sides missing their world cup players seemed ideal to at least give him some decent game time. He is going to need some experience if and when he has to step up in bigger games to come.

I loved it when somebody had sent a message to ScrumV calling him Diagonal Dan

Diagonal Dan did make me laugh. It was interesting that most of the ospreys breaks came from phases where he wasn't at first receiver.

That is funny to be fair, but the Ospreys were standing so flat that Morgan wouldn't of made any difference tonight. In fact it is probably better they left Morgan on the bench because the the Scottish lads defence would of torn him to pieces.

There's a plan in place - he knows what he has to do. He's a bit of a gaping hole in defence - not that he doesn't try to tackle - he does.
However - when Daf Hewitt runs at him - all 16 stone whatever - he does tend to carry Morgans 50kg frame over the gain line - however courageous and textbook Morgan's tackling.
Anyway - Diagonal Dan needs to adapt to the modern game. I never thought that Priestland would be an international fly half. Maybe Dan the pedestrian will one day come good?
