Just been watching Mancini Bramble 2 Truss, would have to say that is a pretty decent fight.

I thought the second Barrera v Morales was the worst fight of the series to be honest Truss, agree with Empire Strikes back tough mate.

The pink panther 2? You mean the rubbishy 2009 remake franchise I assume. A shot in the dark and Inspector Clouseau (the original series sequels) were awesome!

Holyfield Bowe, Morales-Barrera all awesome sequels.

In terms of films - Rocky 2 needs a mention. That he loses the first is a shock to many who watch the franchise - so implausibly winning the second is pretty cool and satisfies many punters.

God Father 2 and Aliens were better than the original's.

Pretty much every other sequel has been worse.

The same goes for boxing. I have absolutely no interest in watching Pacman struggle against Marquez again.

Pacman can't deal with fighters who can fight on the back foot.

Benn-Eubank II never really came to the boil, and neither did Walcott-Marciano II, what with Jersey Joe going out like a lamb in that first round.

Maybe a bit controversial but I hated Godfather 2 the worst of the trilogy imo. Manny-Marquez 2 was a good fight. It could have been FOTY.

Superman 4 came close to losing it's 3. spot to THE EXORCIST 2....dreadful..

Mancini-Bramble was great..........

Talking of anti-climaxes..............Haugen-Pazienza 3 was boring.......

Huge Brando fan...Last tango in Paris, On the waterfront and of course.... The Godfather....

Number 2 could never be as good...Brando-less!!

I remember last tango in paris. A film I was too young to watch but every time I hear the theme music it reminds me of that film and Paris in general.


I think the best sequels was Aliens 2 and 3. Some people dont like part 3 but I think it was the best of the lot. They should have left it there part 4 was just stupid IMO.

Alien 3 was crud...............Waste of good actors.....Not as bad as 4 though!!

Predator 2 was cacky wacky as well...........

Agreed Superman 4 was an awful film.

The worst, Skelton vs Williams, although a gulty pleasure for me as it was very funny watching Skelton actually boxing and this confusing a far too heavy Williams

Chacon-Limon just got better and better, reaching an acme with their fourth fight. Saad Muhammad-Yaqui Lopez II a war for the ages as well.

Moore-Durelle II a dud; Bassa-McAuley II an anticlimax; Pryor-Arguello II similarly ended in bathos.

Mad Max II much superior to the first movie, by the way. The Good, The Bad & The Ugly arguably even better than A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More.

The Good, The Bad & The Ugly isn't really a sequel insofar as it's not a continuation of the story. Great film though.

Worst sequel is Colour of Money, much as I love Scorsese some things should just be left alone and the Hustler is one of them, and before I get accused of going off topic Jake La Motta is in the Hustler so there.
