Cesarewich
I'm starting a thread for next month's Cesarewich......it's one of the few flat races I get excited about.
Really disappointed that Mamlook is unable to take part.....I absolutely love this horse.... Sporting Life
Get well soon Mamlook

Re: Cesarewich
My favourite Cesarewich.. ever!
Caracciola winning in 2008......I don't think there was a dry eye in the house, on this day.

Mamlook finished a brave third behind Caracciola.
I'm just killing time now till the Jumps season starts lol.

Re: Cesarewich
Its arguably the biggest "job" race in the Flat calendar and even if you are in the know so to speak, you arent always guaranteed.Ive been involved in a couple of mighty punts in this race over the years, with differing results. Was lucky enough to be in the know when Kayudee and Trainglot both won it for Jimmy Fitzgerald but got my fingers burnt on Faux Pavilon and Hieroglyphic. When KAYUDEE won, ridden by the ill fated Tony Murray,he went on a starvation diet and got a set of specially made lightweight silks to help him do his absolute minimum.Happy days,he romped home at 7s.
Havent looked at this years event although ive had Montaff in mind for this, ever since his storming run in the Northumberland Plate.

Re: Cesarewich
I will put up a couple of horses who could run a big race.
FOX HUNT currently high in the betting after 2 good wins at Epsom and Royal Ascot. He was also well placed in the Goodwood Cup and Ebor at York.
HOLLINS I was going to back this horse at Royal Ascot but the ground got too soft so he didnt run. Then he goes and wins at Glorious Goodwood at 20/1 when I didnt have a penny on
so will be definitely be having a little each way bet for the Cesarewich
