I check this forum at work and get embarassed if people see my monitor

views?

I think your more embarassed about being caught on this forum when you should be working, rather than it being a forum about wrestling.

you know what i dont get is they bring the divas in wearing nearly nothing to get the guys going and ratings up and then the next match is 2 oiled up men wearing pants.. its always confused me

I will openly admit to anyone who asks. I am usually ridiculed at work for it with people trying to accuse me of batting for the other side due to the fact I watch half naked oiled up men rolling around.

My reply to this is always: "Thoughts like that never enter my mind when I watch it. If you see wrestling and the first thing you can think of is 'look at these half naked oiled up men rolling around!' then you clearly have a problem..."

I just can't be annoyed having to explain to people that I know it's fake and I watch it because I enjoy watching the psychology involved in wrestling storylines

Not at all. People do automatically think you are a bit mental watching it, however my female friends understand it from an eye candy point of view. One of my friends took one look at Miz and was suddenly engrossed, lol.

I think people still have a misconception that wrestling hasn't changed since the 80s.

I think you've got the wrong person theirs only 1 person who watch that and it's Waspy

When i tell people me and my daughter are going to watch wrestling there is always some smart arse that says " you know its fake , right" at this point i just start a convo with someone else, luckily a few months ago a new gal started and she is into wrestling, not big time but she likes to have the odd convo, and one of the old dears occasionally asks if Takers still in it lol.......oh and it doesnt bother me , in my eyes its no worse than watching corrie, although WWE storylines are slightly more believable.

I have absolutely no shame whatsoever in watching wrestling. I like wrestling as a sport and never shy away from the fact that I watch it.

People tell me they watch cricket and I have to ask them if they actually have a soul!

I dont get embarrassed by watching wrestling , quite a few of the lads at work watch aswell . It does seem strange to some people listening to grown men talking about lastnights RAW or whatever but sod em .

Its the only sport that i think must be as boring to play as it is to watch......

My friends have taken to mocking my love of wrestling by quoting the South Park episode "WTF" at me. Its just banter though, a lot of them have fond memories of watching it when they were younger.

I love WWE and dont care if i get caught out by freinds because i know its fake etc. I will like to call myself a "mature viewer"
